@  Donocropolis : (22 October 2020 - 01:34 PM)

I swear I remember getting the Happymeal G1 minibot as a child, but I live 2.5 hours from St. Louis, which is the only place they apparently came out. It's possible that I got it on a family vacation, though, as we went to Six Flags pretty often.

@  ▲ndrusi : (22 October 2020 - 01:07 PM)

Conversely, I had the Gobot helicopter from Wendy's and I was absolutely convinced it was an actual Transformer.

@  Donocropolis : (22 October 2020 - 08:13 AM)

I used to rubber-band Hot-Wheels style construction vehicles together and pretend it was Devestator.

@  Bass X0 : (21 October 2020 - 05:26 PM)

When I was about four years old, my parents bought me Bugbite and tried to tell me it was Bumblebee. I was not yet a fan of Transformers, but I knew that wasn't Bumblebee. I didn't even have the real Bumblebee at that time.

@  Maximus Ambus : (21 October 2020 - 01:39 PM)

It would come with two soundtracks: the eighties classic and one featuring dubstep and the VAs are popular Youtubers.

@  wonko the sane? : (21 October 2020 - 12:13 PM)

But yeah, reading it: I came off as a bit of an ass.

@  wonko the sane? : (21 October 2020 - 11:52 AM)

I just couldn't think of worse music than disco...

@  NotVeryKnightly : (21 October 2020 - 11:35 AM)

What were you trying to imply with the mocking sarcasm, though? Nobody suggested that '80s music was any more "of it's time" than '70s music.

@  wonko the sane? : (21 October 2020 - 11:18 AM)

I said that disco wouldn't fare much better with the same context: media is property of it's time; biases, culture and limitations are all inherent in that. Some stuff can be brought forward because of an inherently timeless nature or the simplicity with which it was made but lots of media is a time capsule of the period of when it was made.

@  NotVeryKnightly : (21 October 2020 - 08:46 AM)

I'm not sure what you're trying to imply, or what you even think I said.

@  wonko the sane? : (21 October 2020 - 08:11 AM)

Yeah, cause disco would make the transition so much better...

@  NotVeryKnightly : (21 October 2020 - 07:17 AM)

I feel the '80s music would be jarring when running over current-day CGI instead of well, '80s visuals.

@  Maximus Ambus : (21 October 2020 - 05:39 AM)

Not a remake, reanimated scene for scene, like that fan vid titled they were always real to me.

@  TheMightyMol... : (21 October 2020 - 04:37 AM)

Because we need more remakes these days.

@  Maximus Ambus : (21 October 2020 - 01:36 AM)

Be a hoot if these Studio Series 86 toys led to Transformers The Move Reanimated like Pokemon Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution.

Seems the area near my work place is due to be gentrified. Electric car ports, fifty pound haircuts and five pound bowls of cereal in breakfast cafes I'll bet.

@ZakuConvoy Lumines Electric Symphony. So still halfway interesting, and it’ll play on the PS TV

@  Demovere Xeno : (19 October 2020 - 10:36 PM)

@Maximus: I paired the Battle Patrol with Ironworks and they look good together, though the Off Road Patrol would probably fit best as vehicles you're likely to find at a construction site.

@  ZakuConvoy : (19 October 2020 - 09:39 PM)

So...was it something like Tearaway or Gravity Rush or was it just a FIFA or a Madden?

My local Walmart FINALLY got a restock of Generations during the early September reset and got a big shipment of Earthrise wave 1 (the first I’d seen around here). IF, and that’s a big IF, they restock I’m expecting a bunch of wave 3. Or wave 2. But we’ll be skipping one of those waves.

@  Steevy Maximus : (19 October 2020 - 04:08 AM)

Barricade hanging around

@  Steevy Maximus : (19 October 2020 - 04:08 AM)

Brunt barely appeared here at all, wave 3 was pretty much skipped for a big load of wave 4, with Impactor and

@  wonko the sane? : (18 October 2020 - 10:13 PM)

Brunt is shelfwarming around me. One walmart moved the whole lot of them off to a side shelf, but couldn't be added to liquidate them.

@  unluckiness : (18 October 2020 - 09:01 PM)

Ironworks is a plague. No idea if it was overproduced or if nobody wants it but thing's clogging shelves.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (18 October 2020 - 04:23 PM)

My walmart the few times I go in will be lucky to have two or three transformers period.

@  TheMightyMol... : (18 October 2020 - 10:29 AM)

I mostly just see walls of Ironworks. And the occassional Siege Hound.

@  Paladin : (18 October 2020 - 08:44 AM)

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 08:40 AM)

My local Symths is still chock full of Earthrise wave 1.

@  wonko the sane? : (18 October 2020 - 08:24 AM)

Yup, generally so much they don't bother with any other waves as the existing stock doesn't sell out.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:56 AM)

All the damn time.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:56 AM)

If there's anything there's going to be plenty of stock, it's wave 1.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:56 AM)

I'm really not worried about wave 1 of a new line EVER.

@  wonko the sane? : (18 October 2020 - 07:47 AM)

At least you got listings for kingdom. walmart canada won't list them until they're actually in stock and that could very well never happen. I'm gonna get mine from BBTS cause I'm not missing out on the maximals.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:32 AM)

And I don't buy the "they all sold out" explanation. The Kingdom figures are still listed.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:32 AM)

I don't see any of Friday's reveals at Walmart.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:23 AM)

There's a difference between "sold out" and "no trace of a listing".

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:23 AM)

There is still a listing for the scalped and sold out Walmart exclusive limited edition version of Gigawatt.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 07:22 AM)

But there should still be a listing.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (18 October 2020 - 06:30 AM)

Probably got scalped and sold out in seconds.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 04:10 AM)

And I don't see links anywhere either.

@  Nevermore : (18 October 2020 - 04:10 AM)

So did Walmart somehow fail put up the Headmasters preorders as promised by Hasbro, or have the listings been taken down again? I cannot find them.

-So this comic stars Scarlett of all characters. Since she only ever used the same Kai Blast as Star, I wanted to give her something unique and that became her being able to use all Elements.

-This first panel is the only time Blade appears in this comic. I wanted to split up Blade and W. to see what I could do with them in different groups.

-This comic is full of attack bits that takes advantage of the play set and it's features. I think these make for good action, though the motion blurs are still a bit heavier than they should be.

-Well, Bush's dingy is back. Also like Clamcake taking none of W's shit.

-I honestly don't know where some of W's random lines came from. I do know The Todd is a Scrubs reference.

-I'm amazed I got any useable pictures of that jail cell. It's in a really cramped place.

-This cat fight is so dumb and fun. I can't remember if this was my idea or Star's to have Scarlett and Yuna fight over different versions of the same man. This rivaly becomes the core of Scarlett's and Yuna's interacts from now on.

-The topless joke is me thinking "why wouldn't a Sith lord do that?" It's awkward but this isn't as bad as the last time there was a topless woman in the comic.

-...There's that Smurf again!...Oh, it actually has a point here for a joke. Okay.

-Pirates vs Sith!...Yeah, it's one sided.

-Kai Blast: Beautiful Glacial Caress. Scarlett gets an unique Kai Blast here in the form of an Ice attack. It freezes areas of the body for a little bit. The notes I have on this Kai Blast read like something Star wrote. It might've been his idea and I might've copied the text into my notes.

-Hey, Springer does a thing. That poor seashell headed guy gets the crap beat out of him in this. Loses an arm and now Springer Hearyarms him.

-I think Clamcake might use a Flash Step here. Either that or he's just jumping way further then Springer.

-Once again using features of the play set. This play set was great for action set pieces. You probably won't see this set again as I sold this play set recently. Great play set, I just didn't have space for it anymore.

-Yep, original timeline Jack Sparrow is still golden so Springer wasted a Paradox Chip.

Next Time: A main comic without W, more negative hunting, and more character development for a few characters.

Here's a couple of Filler Funnies to kill some time. First one's related to this arc, second is one I highly considered turning into an And Then They Fight. It's great Transformer fun. Enjoy.

-Cold open: You might've noticed a slight tone shift in season 2 to have more serious scenes here and there. I feel this scene is when it's noticable and at the time I limited the serious scenes to be sparing. Anyways, if you're trope savy you can probably guess the path Tuskie is going down.
-A little more with Roz hating the idea of the other timeline. There is a reason why she doesn't like it that is revealed later. Also, there's a reason she doesn't use Kai Blasts either.
-So Shortround is the only summon in this comic. Wanted to have just one for a while. If I ever get this to a more episodic format, I plan to do this more often.
-New Character: Sandy. Since Tuskie was off doing something else, I decicded Desert Claw needed a new lead henchman for this comic. Instead of a straight man like Tuskie, I wanted Sandy to be an enabler of Desert Claw's weirdness. Also, like W, Sandy knows he's in a comic.
-New characters: Archdemon and Wolfdemon. The timeline negatives of Archangel and Wolfangel are played as a mistress and her dog. I can't remember the origins of the muffin man joke, but I'm happy it's here. It made for a fun scene.
-Had to do the droids joke. It's the reason I used a Sand Trooper for Sandy.
-If you haven't noticed, we have random rebel troopers with us in a lot of scenes. Also, it's mentioned earlier, but Roger is remote controlling those droids from the safe house. This is the only comic they appear in.
-Wolfangel has a new shield. Shame I didn't upgrade Archangel's sword. This was a great time to do that and he so needed a new one.
-I should find a way to use "stuck between a claw and a muffin lover" in convention.
-See, Shortround has uses. I like that you can see him with the BAT in his arms.
-This is still before I had a great flame effect part for Archangel/demon's Kai Blast.
-Heck yeah, new Yoda figure. This one's based on the first Clone Wars cartoon. I really like this Yoda figure and he remains in this toy for the rest of the comic.
-Due to my favorite clip from the English dub of Kamen Rider Kabuto (yeah, that exists), I now read Archdemon's "All of you!" line with a voice crack in it.
-You might notice that Archdemon's Unicron arm isn't transparent like when Archangel uses the same attack. There's a reason for that that never made it in. I may be able to explain that in the finale, so I'll save it for now.
-And...ummm...that gnome robot guy is back. He's a robot, so he's easier to explain then Yoda. I'm not sure if it's ever said since the running gag is no one notices him, but Gnome Prime just used on of the chips in season 1 and went off with Yoda when the paradox happened.
Next Time: Nega-Scarlett has escaped, but the gang is back together. Tomorrow we end the first arc of season 2 by catching up with the other timeline and...well, let's just say shit gets real.

-Cold open: Yoda's a force ghost with a physical form. Also Clamcake's fist is some sort of deal. Like Archdemon's Unicron attack, I hope to explain this later.

-Once I has made it clear that both timelines existed, I wanted to do some catching up with what was happening in the origin timeline. I created a new Kai Blast for Wolfangel just to do this.

-Once again, really wish I had gone with "pop" and not "poof." It's the little things somethings that get me.

-There's a 4th wall break that actually makes since within the context of the comic.

-I just noticed Gnome Prime's with them after the paradox. Eh, it's an illusion anyways.

-Those symbols were just a bunch of characters I'd like to one day use...and Eek the Cat.

-Scarlett is kicking Clinton in the crotch in one panel.

-This is the proper introdution to the Axalon Underground forum characters. They mainly appear in Filler Funnies.

-One of the members, Dreadnought (I think he renamed himself Nexus Zero later), had his own fictional country, so I'm making reference to that here. I have a guest written comic crediting Nexus Zero as well that explains these events. I'll post it over the weekend.

-Icefang and Starshooter are husband and wife if I'm remembering right. The events of how they got the Autobots to help were told in a text story I'm not 100% sure I still have. I do at least have a poster for it.

-The other two were suppose to get stories as well, but I never got around to them.

-I'm amazied a nuclear joke hadn't happened yet. We're like 20+ issues in.

-So why Icefang? Well, I had a contest. Whoever guessed how many DVDs I owned at the time would join the team in the main comic and get a Kai Blast.

-Roadblock is because I wanted one of my fav Joes in the comic again and Wall-E because I wanted another droid.

-And now for the scene I created to make it things are about to get a little darker and some grit to.

-So Cobra Commander is taking Nega-W's place and we have the new Master of Earth, Krang. I probably should've had a short scene of him being appointed earlier in the comic. Oh well, here he is.

-OH MY GOD! It's Serpentor! Who would've ever guessed it was him?!

-From context, I hope you all gathered that during the fall of Cobra, Cobra Commander tried to kill Serpentor and outed Destro once captured. this is their revenge.

-I know this is needlessly violent, but I wanted the see if I could do some of this stuff. The Destro part is probably a bit much, but that hand Destro had just looked like he could tear into someone like that.

-He's NOT Serpentor! HA! Who is this guy then? Keep reading.

-This is the first major death. There are more coming, though I don't think any of them are quite this graphic.

-And to defuse that scene, maybe even undercut it, we are called Bush Raiders again.

-Din Crystal! That's what the Red Stone was called in Agent X's comic.

-And ending on Negatives of Agent X and Curse from the Botcon arc. I'm not 100% why I added them, but I know a little sometime happens with them.

NEXT Time: Over the weekend will be posting some of the spin offs I mentioned earlier and maybe a filler funny or 2. Starting on Monday we will start Arc 2, which is only 2 comics. On Wednesday I'll start Arc 3, which is 3 comics (including the short side story). After that we hit Arc 4, which is the final arc. I maybe put posting arc 4 on hold for a bit while I'm still editing and making those last 2 ATTFs to sync the numbers. We;ll see when we get there.

Couple more Filler Funnies.
-This one is a rather random comic that was born from the fun of Indiana Jones collecting. Shame that line didn't last longer.
-This one has a bit of a story to it. My brother had found an eBay lot of Metal Gear figures for Wolfangel and couldn't use eBay at the time, so had me buy them. I ordered something from the seller to, so when they came to my house I opened the box and checked it all over. Then made this comic without them being any the wiser.

-For more on Osteogenesis Imperfecta www.oif.org/site/PageServer

-Time for an origin story of sorts for Blade. This had been stewing for a long time. I needed to explain Command Line, resolve that one off line in the Botcon arc, and retcon to get what I wanted the character to be from the start.

-You might be wondering why Blade wasn't in a wheelchair from the beginning. The answer is simple: Before the movie Avatar, there were almost no wheelchair options in this scale. The chair here is from some anime figurine of a little girl, so only child sized figures can fit in it.

-Cold Open: I did make a minor edit here. The origin says Type III OI, but the classifications have changed over the yesrs (possibly even before this was made) so I decided to simplify it to not have that.

-Starting with this comic, the star shaped TAOWAR logo is used and the panel has a blue background. I think it pixelated worse over the years, but I'm still happy to have color here.

-Oh wow, I totally forgot the segway from the cold open to Springer saying the same line. I think that might've working better if the title pnael was moved before the cold open or after the Springer panel.

-Serpentor's "run for your lives" line is from Doctor Who. *whistles nonchalantly*

-I wanted to switch bodies on Agent X anf Curse Hawkwind to get them out of those 5" ToyBiz toys, so I had them switch bodies with their timeline negatives here to do that while also destroying the TRU. This means no more crossing over.

-I try hard these days to hide the stands, but for Firefly is kind of works in this panel as his name appears below him like he's a monster of the week.

-Oh, Roger grabbed Jack Sparrow. I totally forgot about that.

-The other monster nametag of the week is Cobra The Enemy.

-Another drawn set here, this time a street are night. I got some good use out of this. Also, Night Ops Humvee is rad. Glad I got to use it somewhere.

-Hey look, a Transformer that isn't a summon or Springer. I needed Blade alone for the rest of this arc and Blackout was a good chance to give Icefang a minor fight.

-One of my other favorite play sets is this Spawn Alley Way set. Highly recommended if you like the 3.75"-4.25" scale.

-I wonder if I still have that I Want You card. I think it was a JoeCon ad (and erased whatever the name was)

-New Character: Raider. My very first "custom" toy was a Lego made wheelchair Transformer that GI Joe figures could sit in. This was the origns of Raider. I still have it to, it just wasn't super useful for what I needed in the comic.

-The Raider custom here is make of TF parts from Beast Machines and Universe. It can't transform, so I made it so Raider's alt mode would cast off like a pretender shell or something. It doesn't really add up in the comic, but at the time it was the best way to make this work.

-The plane crash line is stipud. I kind of wish I hadn't put it in there.

-I fully admit this origin is a little fan fic-y, but I think that might've been the point. Do all the tropes. Plane crash, best friend is a Transformer, reenacting a song from Aladdin, and probably the most Mary Sue moment in the comic (we'll get to that).

-Summon: Who's the coolest shark summon around? Sky-Byte! This one is literally just Sky-Byte. I sadly haven't used him outside this attack. It's worth noting that all of Nega-Gnome's summons are sharks.

-New Character: Nega-Gnome. I decided to make one timeline negative a good guy, but since it was a negative of Blade I wanted to make sure he was ridiculously silly. I may have mentioned it in the past but my real world nickname is gnome. I saw a chance to bring it into the comic using the negative and took it. If this had been planned, I probably wouldn't have called Gnome Prime that.

-Nega-Gnome also talks similar to Claw Jaw. Because it's fun.

-Oh hey, my real name. You may have noticed it on a few Filler Funnies. I like it when the villain calmly say heroes' real names like it's no big deal.

-The Mary Sue moment. Hey guys, my OC is so cool, his best friend is a Transformer and he grew up with the Ninja Turtles. Ugh. In comic, this mainly exists to explain why Blade knew the Turtles to begin with and how he got the safe house (AKA the 2003 TMNT lair).

-New character: Gravel. Gravel is an in-joke. You see, I have an electric wheelchair. It sinks in gravel. Gravel is my enemy. It was either that or stairs. As for why he's trying to kill Blade, no one knows, yet.

-Gravel's custom is a General Tragg from TMNT painted from top to bottom and made to look as frightening as I could. If you're wondering the red is not blood, it's lava.

Next Time: The origin story continues and lots of fighting.

-If the last arc was about Blade, then this arc is mainly about other character developing and setting up the final arc of the season (aka the incomplete one).
-Cold Open: Wanted to remind people about Tuskie's family to set up his development in this arc and visually I wanted to parody the opening of the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime (the part with the burning photo).
-This first scene was to recap all the events leading to this while doing some clean up. One thing that needed to be cleaned up was to the villains having negatives. Created a second set of chips to erased them.
-I also needed to clean up why THE Master was replaced by Cobra Commander only to be replaced by Serpentor not to long after.
-Even tried in the first arc as well as Tales of the Time Thief here (also explaining how Krang got here).
-Sorry if there's some spelling errors in this. I fixed at least 3 on the first picture file alone.
-Oh, and Baroness got upgraded. This might be the best modern Baroness toy.
-The return of Leader-1. Why? Eh, why not?
-I kind of love Nega-Gnome. Side note, due to the story line, Nega-Gnome will not meet W. until the finale. And boy am I excited to share that scene.
-Suddenly character development for Roz. Her rejection of the paradox is her not wanting to hope her brother is alive even if it's not exactly her brother. Also, TEX is the nicest character in the comic from this scene alone.
-Time for more Sandy! And yes, I totally told Sandy that it will end with [Message Deleted].
-I have never read or watched Harry Potter and don't plan on it. This joke is literally all I know about it.
-This was a short one. Partly because it didn't have any action in it, but also because some characters just had lot to say without interruptions.
Next Time: An missing sword and Tuskie's resolve.

Meant to post this earlier today, but got side tracked by trying to find a missing prop I need for one single panel.

-No cold open on this one. If I remember right, these two were written as one comic, but due to the text dump in the first half I broke it up.

-Upgraded Roadblock here in the same way as Baroness. Was never happy wih the early modern Joes of him.

-Thief's gang returns in the same way as Krang. That means Scar Forte is probably around here somewhere to.

-Empp knows about THAT scene and wants to punish Blade for THAT scene. Honestly, Ceus should let him.

-Thief also gets her 3rd toy here. Wanted a more armored design and the ability to use all the Microman hands from the first figure.

-I had a lot of fun with the DE-MOS characters in this arc.

-Really wanted to change "master" to "lord" to lessen the name confusion, but I told myself not not to change thingslike this.

-Who could Serpentor possibly be? *whistles nonchalantly*

-And "Billy" even gtot upgraded.

-I wonder if anyone saw the whip gag coming.

-Tuskie is a fan of Dinobot's Golden Disc scene.

-I like this scene between Tuskie and Destro. Seriously, I'm a little impressed with my past self right now. Scenes like this was why I didn't want to start over.

-Don't worry, Springer is still alive. We'll see him again soon.

-I just now realized Empp calls the darkest skinned Turtle a "boy." If Empp comes off racist, it's not intentional. He's just an asshole. This is another line I'd edit if I was allowing myself to.

-I like how relaxed Yoda looks in this scene.

-More explanation on Seal/Release as it plays a part in all of this, though maybe not in the way you might think.

-To make sure Thief isn't too Overpowered, this plan could only work with Yoda and other Jedi spirits helping.

-Tuskie has a new Darth Vader cape.

-Both of the W. scenes in this and the last arc date the comic so bad. Now he's watching Smallville.

Next Time: A short comic (literally one picture file) letting some side characters take the spotlight. It is important to the over arcing story though.

-This is happening as Blade, Thief, Donnie, Yoda, and Empp talk.
-I think this is the only time I have the text under the title start the story. Normally it's just a recap. What's said here is brought up in narration at the end as well. I should've moved the text to a yellow narration box in the first panel as I assume anyone that doesn't need a recap skips that text (I know I, writer, does).
-While this comic is important, I believe this was the one I left out of the issue count by mistake. Consider this or the Himalayas epilogue a .5 issue.
-The Power Levels are bullshit. The only thing to note is Thief is stronger then Blade...oh, and Thief is over that meme.
-The head shots of Blade and Thief are from proper photos of the custom figures. I need to save those from Photobucket someday.
-I never named Scar's horse, though I remember there was a name thrown around. Something like "Equus of Nine" or the like. I remember it being a Seven of Nine joke at least.
-Gnome Prime is a Digimon...as a Transformer. Bet you didn't see that coming. When I decided to bring GP back, I wanted him to be able to grow into a bunch of different Prime/Primal toys. I wanted a Prime/Primal in my ranks and there's so many to choose from. This is the best of both worlds.
-Note that in future comics it will be "Digivolve" not "evolve." I think I was going through that anime phase where all changes were considered evil. Meanwhile, even Bandai Japan has accepted the term Digivolve these days.
-Vang Primal's toy might looks worn and there's a reason for that, that Optimus Primal was my very first Transformer (along with the croc Megatron, of course). Vang was a name I gave the toy when my brother (and later me) got Ultra class Optimus Primal and I didn't see them as the same character. Why Vang? Because vampire bats and fangs. That's all.
-I'm not a fan of Scar's line getting cut off here. It's bad foreshadowing. I didn't want to commit to the word he was going to say because for the problems with the term "Master." The term is revealed in the next arc and I should've revealed it here.
-This is the last main comic I'm going to be keeping my hands off of as much as possible. Next main comic is the beginning of the final arc and there's some edits I want to make. There's just some stuff I want to improve and/or make flow better with the finale.
Next Time: I dunno. Probably some Filler Funnies over the weekend and then the final 4 old issues next week.
I am still working on the finale. I'm currently shooting and editing the epilogue. I got a little behind due to life, but making progress here and there and believe I can have it finished before June. However, in making the finale work I had to skip over some battles that I had set up in issue 36. They are important subplots, but some fat needed to be cut and they had to go. Now that the ending is nearly complete, I want to go back and make those battles I skipped. These were character focused battles. There's enough to make it all its own shorter issue.
So I have 2 choices here:
Option 1) Delay the finale to issue 38 and make issues 37 the skipped parts before releasing it. If I do this, it might take a while as I'm missing a toy I need to make it. It was a toy I thought I still owned, but sold a year or 2 ago.
Option 2) Release the finale first so the ending is done and then make these skipped battles a one off 36.5 issue. I did write the finale as if these battles happened either way and the aftermath is in the first few pages, so the finale would tell you the outcome of these battles if I did it this way.
I'd like to know if anyone has a preference here.

-As mentioned before, I'm allowing myself to edit anything I want in this arc. I will go over every change except simple spelling errors.
-This comic has the biggest edit I'm doing in that it is a huge visual edit. And for fun I'm not telling you what it is because I'm curious if anyone can find it. I have kept the originals and will post a side-by-side at a later time.
-Starting with this comic every comic has an individual title all of which are songs titles. This one is Good Morning, best known for it's use in the musical Singin' in the Rain.
-Hey, Springer's back and can be a helicopter now. Sadly, this is his last appearance in the completed comics.
-More trooper fun. That is not Sandy, by the way, just a dirty Stormtrooper.
-Yes, that a TMNT II line. I regret nothing because I love that line.
-My goal here was to set up a handful of one-on-one battles to give the main cast that wasn't around much this season a spotlight fight each.
-Pit Viper has the title drop. Here he actually sings it. Later it will just be in normal dialogue.
-Roz uses a Spy Troops Lady Jaye that came with a Baroness disguise as her figure. This was a fun excuse to use those parts.
-Corrected an error here. The Paradox Machine is in the basement as seen in an earlier comic. The original lines were "Down the Hall" and "On the first floor? Really?"
-Changed Roadblock's line to set up Baroness' reply better. Otherwise Baroness is replying to TEX's line, who isn't there. The original line was "Good thing, we have a fight to bring." It almost works that way, but I think him using the word deliver instead makes it flow better.
-Shock value time. Judgement is missing an arm and maybe dead. Things are about to get dark is what I'm saying.
NEXT TIME: The fight against the Negatives begins while the battlefield gets messy in Time Storm Part II: Danger Zone.

-Title song is Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins. I think this one's pretty obvious.

-Added Jackal's name to the narration. He's named later, but in a way that assumes you know his name already. This helps clear that up.

-Hey look, Nega-Scarlett's Night Creeper friend is back and...and...what are you doing with that sword?...Yeah, It's implied that Night Creeper kills Nega-Scarlett for not wanting to fight. However, I intentionally cut away from this scene quickly because I wanted to leave it open ended. I wrote 2 longer scenes here. One where she dies and one where they run away together. I'm unlikely to follow up on this scene, so pick whichever one you like more.

-Since I already had a Scarlett vs. Yuna earlier in the season, the battle is skipped in favor of the stuff elsewhere.

-Kai Blasts: Aqua Dream and Pleasure Shot. I honestly don't know where these came from beyond thinking way too much about what kind of Kai Blast a femme fatale and a Water user like Baroness would use. I'm not sure, but I think I may have based it on the power Guldo from the Ginyu Force had. If so, Baroness is a the sexy Guldo. Enjoy that image when you try the sleep tonight.

-Kai Blast: Super Spin. Agent X was a Sonic fan so he got a useless Sonic spin attack.

-Clamcake offering to help Scarlett is a bit ackward. There's a TV in the cell, that's how they are suppose to be talking to each other.

-Changed one of GP's lines here. Original was "Yes. They will not survive the night without it." That was TOO mysterious. Thankfully there's a pay off to this before the end of this comic.

-I hope you can hear the sarcasm in Hanz's line.

-The wheelchair figurine from Blade's backstory is back. When did she get that? Well, I plan to explain that in a flash back later. In fact, I just finished the pages of that scene.

-So this is technically Judgement's issue. Yeah, he's not dead, just dying. He's mute so I used him as mainly a named extra until now. Here, the scenes he's in is told from his point of view so you can get to know the character a little better...before I kill him off at the end of the issue. Trust be told, Judgement was a test run for this kind of darker tone. I honestly like the end result. I just wish I had done a little more with him before this, .

-Kai Blast: Kamikaze. Exactly what you think it is. Judgement kills himself by going boom. Also added the Ka-Blam sound. Not sure why it wasn't there to begin with.

-As of this writing the battlefield is never revisited. Judgement is dead, Baroness is most likely dead, Agent X and Curse are maybe dead. Like Nega-Scarlett, unless they show up again, choose whichever one you like...except Judgement. He is dead.

-Changed Blade's line about making a joke. I frankly just didn't like the line. The original was "Geezs, you make one lesbian joke over a half dead woman and they take it the wrong way." It's basically the same except he mentions it was a lesbian joke because Scarlett and Yuna shtick was cat fighting. I feel just wasn't needed because any joke would probably get Blade kicked out.

-Scar is Jack from Blade's backstory, how's that for a reveal?

NEXT TIME: In the first page formatted issue of TAOWAR, Star the Wanderer and Darth Nova meet for the first time while Yoda and Darth Malak duel in Time Storm Part III: The Final Countdown.

-Cover: I have covers now. Honestly, I find them really fun to make and wish more ATTFs were long enough to get one. Here we have Star and Nova clashing swords while their girlfriends fight in the background. For the first cover, I think it turned out quite well.
-Page 1: Page 1 is a recap in every issue.
-Page 2: This page had to happen and it's honestly one of my favorites. Not because Blade is in it, but because I set it up well and the tried something I wasn't sure I could do with toys.
-Page 3: Going forward TAOWAR has proper title panels. I think this one or the next one I forgot and added it later.
-You might've noticed Star changed into a black costume at the beginning of the arc. That's I was planning these battles from early on and Nova looks so similar without his robe.
-Page 4: Don't worry, there's still some comedy. Serpentor's fun in this kind of role.
-Page 5-6: In this battle Yoda is photoshopped in a lot and the lighting is so off. I've gotten better with that.
-Page 7-8: Kai Blast: Lock Force. Remember that spirit reinforcing thing Yoda mentioned to Thief? Well, Lock Force uses those 7 Jedi spirits to seal away a Sith spirit in the Force.
-Much like some of my other favorite attacks this is a combo. And yes, that is Wicket as a Jedi. Just roll with it.
-Page 9: The "dark god" and the "Sages" are named. Remember that line Scar had that got cut off? He was going to say Sage. Yoda is one, GP is one. As for the dark god...keep reading.
-And with this Yoda and Malak are "dead." They are spirits, so they may come back one day, but for the rest of this story they are gone.
-Page 10: There's a huge error I'm not going to the effort to fix here. The Red Stone is gone and Empp is standing where it's suppose to be. It's fixed in the next issue. If you want, pretend Ceus took it down hoping it would turn off and it didn't.
-Added the line "Our plan is going to fail." to flow better into what Thief says next.
-Changed Thief's line about jumping the gun. The original was "I'm not jumping the gun when we don't have all the facts." This didn't make any since when she was suppose to be telling Empp to not jump the gun.
-Also started changing "My Lady" to "milady" here.
-Page 11-15: Title Song and Kai Blast: The Final Countdown. This one I know why I picked. Star had a call waiting song on his phone and it was The Final Countdown by Europe. It would get stuck in my head everytime I called him. It seemed like a good gimmick for a Kai Blast as well, so I used it here.
-Star's Perfect Fatal Blast gets a new effect added to it to show it's gotten stronger. Scarlett's version doesn't have this.
-The whole "mirror" thing was because of all the negatives Star and Scarlett are the only ones to use the exact same figures as both.
-Page 16: Kai Blast Cutting Cloud Breeze. It wasn't explained originally and I wasn't sure what was going on when I reread it recently. Thankfully I had notes on it still. I added the narration to help with that.
-Page 18: Star's line was original just repeating the KB's name. Here I changed it to explaining that there's a second slash. That's why the text is so big.
-Page 19: Like with the scene of Scar and Blade, I really like this with Yuna and Nova. I do kind of wish it was at the first of the issue or in the last one though. Think it would flow better. Either way glad it's there.
-Yuna is also dead. Like Judgement, I plan to keep it that way.
-Page 20: Told you things would come back around to Command Line before this was over. We go further into it next time.
-Added some lines here. Mainly the ones about ADA having a name. At the time, I decided it was too much at once to name it, but screw that. This was the perfect time to name ADA. Why ADA? 2 things: One of my favorite video game characters who's an AI is named ADA. Two, Americans with Disabilities Act. The latter will make more since next time.
NEXT TIME: The final issue of the old comics. Blade VS Tuskie and the true reason behind the paradox. Heads will roll in Time Storm Part IV: Number One.

Little later then intended today. Got behind. Anyways, here's the de facto finale until more is done.
-Cover: I went crazy with Tuskie's Kai Blast for the cover. I do wish I had touched up the paint job in photoshop before doing all that copy and pasting.
-Page 2: that cloak is there for nothing other then a dramatic reveal. Also upgraded Blade's revolver.
-Page 3: Title Song: Number One by Hazel Fernandes aka Ichigo's Theme from Bleach. Getting nerdy with this one. This sound is rad and on my playlist at the time.
-I really like these narration boxes with Scar's face. It was a way to get the exposition out of the way while not having Scar and Blade just stand around talking to each other.
-I may have alluded to this in an earlier arc, but this is where I wanted Blade to go. I saw that Command Line could be overpowered if Blade could change freely and I wanted my hero character in a wheelchair, dang it. It also give Command Line a huge weakest while getting Blade into the chair without having something bad happen to him.
-Also took this chance to update Blade into his current body. If this look familiar, this is the figure used for Blade in ATTF #1 complete with the wheelchair.
-Page 4: And would you look at that, the summoning make even more since now. This wasn't fully intended either, but I'm glad it went this way. Side note, Blade can summon a couple of Ice based TFs now.
-Summon: Break. If you're unfamiliar with Break, he's from Beast Wars Neo. The joke here is that Break's voice actor is also the voice of Naruto and she uses the exact same voice for both. Neo was before Naruto to.
-Page 5: Kai Blast: Endless Shadow. Speaking of Naruto, Tuskie gets the shadow clone Kai Blast. He is a troop build after all. Plus, I had a few breaks over the years so I made sure to have extras of him.
-Summon: Polar Claw. Originally he says nothing, but I added lines for him. Why? Because I'm going to be damned if that somewhat crappy Sins of the Wreckers comic gave Polar Claw more dialogue then me.
-Page 6: The attack names were originally Blade just yelling out thier names, something he's never had to do before. This is much better.
-Page 7: Added another Polar Claw line. His one note thing is being a hugger...and maybe Russian.
-Pages 8-11 are setting up the skipped battles, so expect them to be most if not all of Issue 37.
-Setting up the true goal of DE-MOS while getting in one more Dr. Mindbender gag.
-I had forgotten the East Bake Oven line. It's a good line.
-If you thought Scar only had the one mysterious thing about him you were wrong. He knows Roz's brother.
-Page 12: Not to be left out, Tuskie is upgraded to anf goes by Tusk now. Also, 2 swords now.
-Page 13: LET'S WALKING! I'm not saying I did all of this for a Go-Busters reference, but I might've done all of this for a Go-Busters reference.
-Fortiavis can change form on it's own now. Think of this as a less energy draining form change.
-I removed a line here. Originally ADA says "Change Zyu" when the axe appears. This was a thing I was planning on doing for all the sword form changes, but decided to down it. Since I still had the original pic I edited it out as it's the only time it does this.
-Page 14: Both of them call each other by their correct names for the first thing. This is the point where Tusk's story arc is complete. He's now an ally fighting Serpentor with Blade.
-Page 15: I really like this panel of Blade and Tusk attacking from above.
-Page 16: Changed Serpentor's line. Original was "Looks like fun time is over, Destro. Go kill the prisoners." This order doesn't ever even begin to be a thing, so just wanted to get rid of it.
-Page 17: Heads have rolled.
-Page 18-19: And we have the cliffhanger or rather the big unresolved reveal. Serpentor is in fact THE Master from season 1 and a clone of a Time Lord (assumed to be the Master).
-Also, Atra Deus is named. That's right, there's technically a bigger bad.
NEXT TIME WHENEVER THAT IS: Archangel and Wolfangel fight their negatives while we learn more about Roz's brother. It may be a while, so in the meantime I'll probably post more of the extra stuff. I'm thinking maybe the profiles tomorrow, but I might be getting busy so I may just not post anything.

Been a little bit since I've posted. Partly because my internet has been crappy lately, partly because I needed a break. Wanted to post a little something though, so here is all 11 profiles. 3 of them are summons and 3 are forum characters, the others are characters like W. and Leader-1. Note that I made no edits here, so I'm sure there's a typo or 12. Enjoy.

Remember how the title of the thread is And Then They Fight? Well, I still have 2 ATTFs before the comics merge in #37, so let's get on that with a completely random Lupinranger Vs. Patranger joke based on the end of episode 15. Enjoy.
As for TAOWAR's ending, my goal is to have issue 37 (the Archangel, Wolfangel, and Roz battles) out by November. Why so long? Because of life things. If that issue is not mostly done by that time, I will release the finale and finish the extra stuff whenever I can. Why? Well my goal for 2018 is to end the Paradox Saga.
That gives me 5-ish months to complete it and I hope to have it done much sooner.
Before that though, I still have 1 more ATTF to make and I still have a bunch of Filler Funnies and the like to fill the time with. I'm going to try to make a post every Thursday until I'm out of stuff to post.

Wow, Thursday already. Well, let's see what's in store for today.
I keep forgetting to post this, so let's start with the huge visual edit form Time Storm Part I. Original panels on the left, new panels on the right.
So 30th Anniversary Springer wasn't even a thing yet when I made the comic. The upgrade was Universe 2.0 Springer instead. I would've kept Universe Springer, but two things 1) I don't own that Universe Springer anymore and 2) when Springer appears again in any comics I make he's going to be the 30th Anniversary toy anyways. I will say he does at least appear in the finale. The last panel was a pain to edit the new toy into as I don't own about half of that panel's toys anymore.
Lastly for this week, 5 Filler Funnies. This batch probably has to most forum character focus of any batch. I think 25 is pretty good even if you don't know the characters. Enjoy.

Had a busy day and almost forgot to post. This week another 5 Filler Funnies, 26-30. 26 is an Animated joke, 27 is a guest comic by Star the Wanderer (and very heavy on the forum characters), 28 is based on a true story, I believe 29 was based on a time with Sorus was hosting the images of the comic, and 30 is currently super uncomfortable to read if you keep up with news right now (comics like this made me glad I dated them). Enjoy.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I have an update on the end of TAOWAR. First, to make it easier to tell which I'm talking about, the titles of the final two parts of Time Storm are titled Reckless Fire and Time's Scar.

Reckless Fire is the Archangel, Wolfangel, and Roz issue. I currently have it written, found the toy I was needing, and began photographing/editing it. It will be about 15 or so pages once finished.

Time's Scar, the finale, is 95% complete. I just keep debating the final scene so that's all that's left unfinished. Also, I plan to move a page for it to Reckless Fire and might see if there's a little more I can move. Right now, it's at 40 pages. Yes, I said 40.

How often we who watched Animated had wished Optimus Prime would give Sentinel the suckerpunch he deserved... laugh.gif
Every time, every single time.
Today's round is Filler Funnies 31-35.  31 and 33 are more Animated jokes, 32 and 35 are ones I would tone down a little now, but leaving them as is (consider this your warning). 34 was guest written by Star the Wanderer and frankly one of my favorites. Enjoy.

Yeah, this area of comics was when I was trying to be raunchy to less than desired effect. Here's another round of 5, 36-40. 2-3 fall into that raunchy comedy, though I think the Wii-PO one is still works. I also still like #40 as it's the first appearance of Salesman Megatron. Enjoy.

In general I think the quality of jokes goes up after this batch. Less forum characters and less attempts at raunchy comedy. There's a few I'm really looking forward to reposting soon to.

Suddenly a surprise teaser. I finished the cover for the new Issue 37, Time Storm Part V: Reckless Fire, yesterday and wanted to go ahead and share it.
I have about 1/3rd of it finished and it'll be about 16-19 pages when done. The "AUG 2018" is the time I hope to release it, but it's not set in stone. As you can see here, both TAOWAR and ATTF appear on the cover. While finishing Time Storm, it will be double billed like this since it's Issue 37 and 38 of both comics.
