There is no Metroplex. Only Zuul.

@  Rodimus Supreme : (27 March 2020 - 11:13 AM)

@Tm_Silverclaw: There is no Armada Metroplex, he was in Cybertron.

@  Rodimus Supreme : (27 March 2020 - 11:12 AM)

And they'd be better off just retooling Metroplex and Fortress Maximus to be somewhat more accurate and changing/adding parts for interaction with later play gimmicks.

@  Rodimus Supreme : (27 March 2020 - 11:11 AM)

I honestly would prefer that for scale purposes.

@  Cyoti : (27 March 2020 - 11:07 AM)

They can redo all the CW combiners as Titan Class figures like Predaking/Devastator.

@  Dekafox : (27 March 2020 - 07:52 AM)

They could just redo Metroplex again too. Especially if it's going to be S3 based. They could also do another Primus to go with the coming Unicron.

@  OverDrive73 : (26 March 2020 - 10:56 PM)

If anyone is bored, or interested... I just added the last chapter to my fanfic comic in Allspark Pictures

We need Titan Class Transformers Armada Metroplex.

@  Telly : (26 March 2020 - 08:39 PM)

@  PlutoniumBoss : (26 March 2020 - 05:57 PM)

Too bad a new character titan class figure is pretty much an impossibility.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (26 March 2020 - 05:56 PM)

I want a titan class, really good looking bucket wheel excavator. Like Cybertron Metroplex was supposed to be but didn't quite pull off.

Studio Series 100 Titan Class Driller.

Ugh, Chinese. Typo-city.

@  CORVUS : (22 March 2020 - 11:11 PM)

Rodimus, you're just flat-out wrong. Trump eliminated the Pandemic Response Team. Trump was advised in January that this could be serious, and he didn't listen. Trump spent weeks downplaying COVID-19 by implying it was a hoax, and then that it was just a type of flu. He was late to close down travel from China, and by the time he closed down air-travel to the EU, that was also too late. He has refused to take responsibility for removing the pandemic response team, even though he basically bragged about it some months before. He's also prematurely talked up treatments using chlorquinine that have not been properly vetted as yet, and he keeps calling COVID-19 the "Chinense virus" because he can't help but be a jerk. Face facts: Trump is an incompetent bungler. Period. Full-stop.

"Despite how other characters reacted, he doesn't last long, getting killed by Yudhishthira in chapter 1235."

I feel like this is such a shounen thing. A new character appears and everybody tries to build hype around him, then six chapters later you wonder wherever he went...

"so I guess his head was poking out from a giant rock? "

This sounds like a video game boss. Like, something from Final Fantasy I-VI, or like, Shining Force.

"long digression about pilgrimage spots"

I guess this is markedly different from shounen series, but it's very SoL.

"Duryodhana's handsome thighs were fractured"

NO!!

"she can use the fire of her mind to angrily reduce us to ashes"

Can't tell if literal or not.

"There was two more instances of flowers raining down."

Best part of this whole thing honestly.

" including rain of blood and dust"

BLOOD! and!... dust...

Shalya has actually been around since almost the start. Back in volume 1, he attempts (and fails) to get the twins to move to his kingdom (because he's their maternal uncle) and was one of the guys competing to marry Draupadi.

But also he had a bit more buildup with how back in volume 4 it was suggested that he's supposed to be the counterpart to Krishna.

Also, I have not mentioned that, after the duel, Arjuna's chariot spontaneously combusts. Apparently it should've already been destroyed by brahmastras from Drona and Karna, and Krishna was (temporarily) keeping it intact.

Oh no wonder I forgot who he was.

Ouch.

Amazing.

A few things I wanna point out before I start talking about the next volume:

In page 441, Krishna says that Duryodhana "practised against a man made out of iron" for thirteen years. The TL notes assure me that it's a statue and not that the Mahabharata features golems, but this sure feels like something we could've heard about in any of his scenes during those thirteen years.

While talking to his remaining soldiers, Duryodhana mentions somebody named Charvaka, and the TL notes had this to say:

There was a famous Charvaka, the founder of a materialist and atheist school of philosophy. This is not the famous Charvaka.

which sure is helpful.

Toei made Seikaisuru Kado, which is one anime I actually remember anything about after finishing it. So that's good on them.

Plus, I will take literally any t7S anime anyways.

Good point.

"practised against a man made out of iron"

How does fighting against a statue make you better at fighting?

Martial arts training dummies are a thing in real life, so I assume this would be like, the mythological version.

Turns out that Lapis Re:LiGHTs involves undead idols.

Also, I am not sure whether these characters go to a music school that happens to have lots of witches, or to a witch school that happens to have a lot of idol wannabes.

I might stop doing detailed summaries at some point. I think a lot of the stuff after this won't be as plot-heavy anyway.

"and the Pandavas themselves are actually absent"

Oops?

"he's stopped by a mysterious giant being that shoots flames, which he tries to fight"

Remember when you were a kid and you were playing a random PS2 game and there was a boss that was like... "Yeah, the developers didn't really try with this" and it always shot fire? This is what I'm reminded of.

"An altar magically appears and there's fire in the middle of it. Ashvatthama offers himself to Shiva and walks into the fire."

Obvious metaphor is obvious but what's not obvious is what it's a metaphor for.

"kicks him to death because he doesn't deserve to die by a weapon"

Clever.

"take the jewel from his forehead"

I really love how concerned with jewelry everybody is. I mean, Harry Winston surely did big business in these times (before it even existed).

"The fetus is killed, but Krishna says he'll be revived and named Parikshit."

Random.

"Ashvatthama's jewel becomes a decoration on Yudhishthira's crown."

Somehow this story is both Dragon Ball Z and Kiratto Pri☆Chan

I wonder if we'll see more stuff in this direction just because it's the obvious way to do fighty things+charason.

In Mahabharata section 84, Yudhishthira is in despair and wants to give up on like, all the stuff they've been doing. I just wan to quote a few things Bhima said in response in chapter 1338 (pages 158 and 160).

Forgiveness, compassion, pity and non-violence—with the exception of you, there is no one who treads the path of kshatriyas who is tied down by these.

If one could obtain success only through sannyasa, then mountains and trees would have swiftly obtained success. They are always seen not to cause injury towards others and are based on sannyasa.

(Sannyasa basically means renunciation).
