Vision's days were numbered the minute his origins involved a Infinity Gem, considering we all knew this was coming. That's also why they've been hardcore pushing his "humanity" in his previous appearances. He's likely going to be one of the first ones taken out of commission (Mostly because he's also arguably the most powerful being on Earth with the aid of said Stone).

Wouldn't Adam Warlock take the Adam Warlock role?
No, Adam Warlock is playing the Beyonder's role and Beyonder is standing in for Dazzler.

I kind of feel the same.
I got this feeling that Infinity War might be the best movie of 2018 but then again it could be the worse movie due to all of the charaters appearing, but so far the trailer pretty much blows Justice League trailers out of the water (not seen the film, YET) but then I do think DC is on a rush to catch up to marvel who had plenty of sucess in the last couple of years when it comes to movies thou Inhumans might be their misstep.

Marvel's been building to this for a decade. Thanos first appeared six years ago.
I'm kind of shocked the Superhero bubble didn't burst before we got here. But I'll be honest - this is probably the movie in which I get off the ride. Personal fatigue with the genre on my end, but what a bookend movie to wrap it all up with.
That's subject to change if we ever get a Darkhawk movie or show.

I think I'm pretty much done with the MCU. The best reaction I can come up with to this is just Meh. No excitement. No anticipation. Just complete ambivalence. I've seen everything up through GotG 2, and I'm sure I'll see everything else at some point or other, but it's just nothing I still have any real desire to see.
I know it's not general superhero fatigue, because I'm still very interested to see more DCEU movies, and want to see more general superhero-type movies independent of either Marvel or DC. I was never really a Marvel guy, but they managed to get me to care about the universe with the Phase 1 movies, especially the first Avengers. But while they got my attention, nothing's really worked to keep it. I think Winter Soldier was the last movie that really still left me feeling invested in the universe.
Anyway, I'm happy for everyone who's excited for it. Hope you all thoroughly enjoy it.

Since we're beyond the photo shoot bit here, I'm going to change the topic title to reflect that.
Eeeee! Ron Lim art! Teehee!

Good eye! That's my favorite Thanos character arc outside of the stuff that Starlin wrote. It's all made that much better by Lim's fantastic art.

I dont get the idea of "movie fatigue" I could see not liking a series if its gone downhill like TF stuff but Marvel movies have been consistently good to great since Iron Man 1
Do you put down a good book at the climax of a story and say meh I'm done? Turn off a game at the start of the final boss fight and delete your save file?

Wait. Wait, wait, wait. Are you telling me that tec has a job? I thought his sole reasons for existence are cheesecake and horrible grammar.-Shadowman024

As a general MCU fan, I would have to say you are giving the MCU a little too much credit. That said, I do not expect this movie to fail at the box office.

Since you put it in terms of literary adventure as well as video games, I'll use an example of both:
I really enjoy the author David Weber. He's got a "Science Fantasy" setting called the Safehold series that is really, really good and is presently sitting at eight books]. He says he plans to continue the series, but I found the last book to be a good getting off point. Not out of any malice towards the author or the writing style (Though I do have some critiques with how he's handling his narrative, the last book was extremely satisfying), but simply because the overall story no longer interested me. The main hook that got me into the series was resolved, and looking forward I really didn't care for the next planned "stage" for this universe. Not because it wouldn't be a page turner, but it's simply not a story I'm interested in spending time with. That doesn't mean I don't wish it well, just means my own interest level has waned.
For video games, I'll use the example that drive my real life gamer friends up the proverbial wall. Final Fantasy VII, the quintessential JRPG classic...I never actually beat the game. Got all the way to the final dungeon to square off against Sephiroth...and hung it up. Why? Because the story was finished. Cloud's mystery had been resolved, Meteor had been stopped, the world was saved. I didn't feel like slogging through yet another dungeon to fight yet another boss after hundreds of hours. Like I said, drives my friends utterly bonkers that I'd stop "right before the end", but there was nothing left to drive me forward. I didn't and still don't care for Sephiroth as an antagonist. I find him whiny and annoying, and hardly deserving of the praise through the years.
I haven't been a serious comic reader in over a decade. I keep abreast current events and read summaries, but the last comic I purchased was when I got Batman: The Court of Owls trade for my Nook when I got that for Christmas four? five? years ago. The last Marvel book I picked up was the Christmas issue of Iron Man that involved him killing Terrorists on a submarine that were planning to launch a nuke at New York City and Tony being saved from the detonating warhead by a literal angel. To date the story, Tony was still with Rumiko Fujikawa at the time (I hear they offed her a few years later...typical Marvel. Give Tony a decent love interest that can actually keep up with him - plus all those fun little nods to the 2099 timeline - and they fridge her).
In that sense, I'm not a comic fan any longer. I enjoy the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I enjoy what it does. But my overall interest level in the narrative going forward is dropping, so Infinity War (and Part 2, if there is one) will likely be my last rodeo. Not because I don't think the output is good, but simply because it's as good an ending point as I'm going to get. And who knows, this is all just from the first trailer. It's entirely possible the MCU will hook me again with this tale and I'll stay on board for yet more films. I'm just saying that right now, I feel like Infinity War is the last Marvel film I'm going to be invested in - and not without just cause. The last Marvel film I actually watched was Age of Ultron. I've yet to see ANY of Phase 3.
