Sad. He created some great stuff.
-ZacWilliam, I also feel sad I will now never be able to get him to sign my copy of Wolverines first appearances which is odd cause getting him to sign it never crossed my mind before.

I had no idea at the time that they were comic book legends (not being into comics back then) or that they had both worked on Transformers, but it was still pretty cool for a couple of the ReBoot writers to turn up to a fan discussion of the show.

I got to meet him a few years ago at a convention here. He was really nice. I got him to sign my copy of Hulk #180 and regaled him with the tale of my wife finding it in a thrift store for $1. He was astonished!

My condolences to him and his family. His contributions to popular culture won't soon be forgotten.
