Well, we're finally getting Darksiders 3, and this one will star Fury, the female Horseman.

I've been meaning to play this series, but I kind of bounced off the first game.
People like saying it's the best Zelda game they ever played, but, at least up until the point I stopped, it was lacking some of the things that make me love Zelda games.
The problem I have with it I have a lot of games that want to do some sort of modern fantasy thing(Like the DMC series, sometimes). They take place in these urban environments that are either dead or empty,
and this ends up filling me with a sense of loneliness that I am very much not a fan of.
Despite that I do own the previous games, and have reinstalled them(I got the fancy new versions for free I guess?) with the plan to try and play them again at some point.
This time with a podcast or tv show at the ready.
As for this new game.
It looks promising, but I'm kind of tired of using the 7 deadly sins as the basis for an enemy group.
Hopefully they don't just go the super obvious route with them(sexy lady for lust, gross fat guy for gluttony, etc).

I believe at one point Joe Mad said the intent was to make a game for each Horseman and then one with all of them. So actually progressing past 1's ending might still be a ways off if that holds true.

Nope, no Pestilence. I think the reasoning was that the more well known/popular Horsemen, Pestilence and Famine didn't really incite exciting gameplay options. Slowly starving/withering your opponents just wasn't very engaging a prospect. So they went with alternates instead.
As far as I understand it, Biblically, the only canonical Horseman is Death/The Pale Rider. The other three have been filled in over the course of literature by various other sources, and War, Famine, and Pestilence are only the most "popular", and even among those themes there are slight variations as well. War is occasionally Conquest, for instance.

I've been making my way through Darksiders 1. The next thing I have to do is go to Sam with the last heart.
I have a question. Do you ever get a "compass" for the overworld?
I'm pretty good at remembering anything that sticks out to me for later, but it still seems like it'd be easy for me to pass over something.

Fury's Legendary Enchantment provides, among other things, the full overworld item radar.
Finally got around to playing the first game not too long ago, actually, as part of an effort to reduce my Steam backlog. My playthrough of 2 has been sidelined somewhat by Overwatch, Diablo, and Heroes of the Storm seasonal events, though, but I was a couple of dungeons into that.
