@  Paladin : (21 September 2018 - 11:10 AM)

random thought: has Nintendo ever made a 3DS that looks like a Pokedex? because that seems like a GOLDMINE waiting to happen...

@  Nevermore : (21 September 2018 - 03:23 AM)

Wiigii! Titans Return Grotusque for only 60 Euros (actually 70 but I somehow had an eBay gift card for reasons that escape me) with free shipping from within my own country!

@  Whirl Maximus : (21 September 2018 - 03:02 AM)

That was the plan for Predators too with the Super Predators.

@  Waspinator : (21 September 2018 - 01:46 AM)

So, apparently in the new Predator movie, the Predators don't hunt us for honor or the challenge or anything like that, but because they're stealing human DNA to modify themselves. Congrats Hollywood, on making a monster far less cool and scary.

@  Pennpenn : (20 September 2018 - 08:46 AM)

I only started playing it recently so I don't know what it was like before. Actually surprised they haven't finished the story yet. Then again, unless they introduce another world it's pretty much just Maleficent and whatever the Foretellers are playing at left.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (20 September 2018 - 08:30 AM)

Geeze.. I reloaded up Kingdom Hearts X for the first time in a long time. That game has massivily inflated from when I played it when it first launced in the US.

@  Pennpenn : (19 September 2018 - 09:07 AM)

It's an annoying thing to have happen in any game. I'm hoping they actually finish releasing all the story mode parts before 3 comes out.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (19 September 2018 - 06:24 AM)

Ahh. Hadn't played that in a long time.. Since before the PVP I think.

@  Pennpenn : (19 September 2018 - 04:33 AM)

Kingdom Hearts Union Cross. Specifically the PVP fights.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (19 September 2018 - 04:31 AM)

What game PennPenn

@  Pennpenn : (19 September 2018 - 03:13 AM)

Man, I love it when you've got limited attempts at something in a game, said game crashes at the end of the thing, so you lose the attempt but don't get any credit.

@  wonko the sane? : (18 September 2018 - 08:44 PM)

I know. I'm back to the classic purple for the first time since the comic theme was introduced.

@  Fenix Twilight : (18 September 2018 - 08:32 PM)

Alright thanks, gonna be weird without the speech bubble boxes but I'll manage.

@  wonko the sane? : (18 September 2018 - 07:59 PM)

Nope, ongoing problem for a bunch of us. The mods know, so... just hunker down and wait. In the mean time: changing themes will sort it out for a bit. Only the comic theme is affected.

@  Fenix Twilight : (18 September 2018 - 05:36 PM)

Is something going on? I'm missing the buttons to go to the newest post and there's no banner for the forum list, it just says "logo" in the corner.

@  Lazy Garou : (11 September 2018 - 11:58 AM)

They've made a PS4 version of Final Fantasy 15 Pocket Edition. For those keeping score, it's the PS4 version of a smartphone version of a PS4 game.

Well, we're finally getting Darksiders 3, and this one will star Fury, the female Horseman.

The first two games were fantastic in their own right.  I look forward to this, but hope the story advances a little more than it has.

I loved the first two games. One of my favorite things about the games, it's how different each Horseman felt. I cannot wait to dig into this one. I'll have to replay the games again in anticipation for this one.

Love Joe Mad. Enjoyed the first game, although I don't think I quite finished it. Didn't get around to trying the sequel, but it's nice to see the franchise surviving.

That trailer, while looking great, does seem to imply that we're to begin the game pre-Darksiders 1s main story. Again

What with Fury going to see a chained War. So at least in part another side story.

I am interested though, since i really hope Dariders survives long enough to show us the Horseman in full battle. As is promised by the ending of the first Darksiders.

I've been meaning to play this series, but I kind of bounced off the first game.

People like saying it's the best Zelda game they ever played, but, at least up until the point I stopped, it was lacking some of the things that make me love Zelda games.

The problem I have with it I have a lot of games that want to do some sort of modern fantasy thing(Like the DMC series, sometimes). They take place in these urban environments that are either dead or empty,

and this ends up filling me with a sense of loneliness that I am very much not a fan of.

Despite that I do own the previous games, and have reinstalled them(I got the fancy new versions for free I guess?) with the plan to try and play them again at some point.

This time with a podcast or tv show at the ready.

As for this new game.

It looks promising, but I'm kind of tired of using the 7 deadly sins as the basis for an enemy group.

Hopefully they don't just go the super obvious route with them(sexy lady for lust, gross fat guy for gluttony, etc).

Looking forward to this. Darksiders 2 dissapointed in a lot of ways but it was still a fun enough game.

I believe at one point Joe Mad said the intent was to make a game for each Horseman and then one with all of them. So actually progressing past 1's ending might still be a ways off if that holds true.

Since War is still in chains, it appears to be another sidequel (like Darksiders 2).

Nope, no Pestilence.  I think the reasoning was that the more well known/popular Horsemen, Pestilence and Famine didn't really incite exciting gameplay options.  Slowly starving/withering your opponents just wasn't very engaging a prospect.  So they went with alternates instead.

As far as I understand it, Biblically, the only canonical Horseman is Death/The Pale Rider.  The other three have been filled in over the course of literature by various other sources, and War, Famine, and Pestilence are only the most "popular", and even among those themes there are slight variations as well.  War is occasionally Conquest, for instance.

I've been making my way through Darksiders 1. The next thing I have to do is go to Sam with the last heart.

I have a question. Do you ever get a "compass" for the overworld?

I'm pretty good at remembering anything that sticks out to me for later, but it still seems like it'd be easy for me to pass over something.

Fury's Legendary Enchantment provides, among other things, the full overworld item radar.

Finally got around to playing the first game not too long ago, actually, as part of an effort to reduce my Steam backlog.  My playthrough of 2 has been sidelined somewhat by Overwatch, Diablo, and Heroes of the Storm seasonal events, though, but I was a couple of dungeons into that.

Yeah, I have more recent games, and an mmo, that I would like to work through at some point, but Darksiders just felt right.

It has also been a part of my own Steam backlog for quite some time.

I got the PC versions of Darksiders Complete edition for 2.00 at my walmart.

Imagine my pleased surprise when I installed it and got the Warmastered and Deathinitive versions as well.
