Gonna keep a list of friend codes and names of us who play the game, hopefully to help some new people out:

Original outdated post below:
Well, looks like Fate/Grand order, the only mobile game that has consistently gained my time, attention, and sometimes money, is being released this summer in English.
Looks like you cannot transfer a Japanese account to the new server though. As of now, it is still a possibility of having an English patch for the Japanese like Granblue Saga, so hopefully that will be the case.
I'll likely make a new account for the story aspects (I have way too many good things in my Japanese account to abandon it and start over). In fact, it will be really nice to see the story, as I generally skip or fast forward through them, since there is no way for me to really tell what is happening in a visual novel... And it will be really nice to be able to know what each skill is and not have to constantly look at the wiki for it.
Warning: Gameplay description that may or may not be hard to follow coming. Read at your own risk:
Gameplay is really nice, most servant classes have a rock/paper/scissors relationship with others, and you get to choose a party of 6 to go to battle (one of which is a guest servant you pick from another player, which is an awesome crutch for most of the game), with the last 3 being one reserve in case one of the front ones dies. Each servant has 5 "cards" that are either Quick (low power, but extra hits and crit generation for the next turn), Arts (medium power, but charges the Noble Phantasm (NP), the super attack for each character), and Buster (high attack, low everything else), and when you take a turn, it shuffles the 15 cards from the 3 characters, shows you 5 of them, and you choose 3 to attack. The nice thing is that it is all turn based, so there is no need to rush anything, which is perfect for a mobile game. There are also skills each character has that can be used before you attack, and the NP can also be used to attack if the gauge is full.
Bad description of good gameplay over:
There is also the Gatcha system for getting new servants... Really low percentage to get 4 or 5 star characters, but they are so worth it. Unlike some other ftp games, you can't raise the rarity of the servants, only later can raise their level cap by using special very limited items. You get the Saint Quarts or tickets needed to summon new characters through logins, playing the story, events, or by using real money. It actually has a pretty good rate of giving them out, so it is actually not hard to be a FTP player (I started Jan '16 and only started buying a bit in Sept, trying in vain to get a limited character).
I lucked out by getting my favorite character, Saber Alter (a 4 star), at the beginning of the game, then got a limited 5 star during the event that was going on (Saber Wars), then got the next limited 5 Star character (Saber Nero Bride), then nothing for a while... I did not have a 5 star for all 7 of the main classes until this past January. Though every month or two they have an event (or now event reruns) where you can easily acquire a free 4 star character who is usually pretty decent (or really damn good, like Kuro from the Fate/Prisma Illya collab event).
My only problem with the game (aside from not being able to read anything, which will be rectified in the summer), is that I find some of the voice acting to be pretty terrible (yeah, personal preference, but can get really annoying). Granted, the story segments are not voiced, only the battle lines, when the characters are Ascended (level cap break), and some lines in your "room." It is the battle one that can get pretty grating for me (Saber Nero Bride is one of the prime examples). I can overlook most of it because it is FTP and the gameplay is fun, and expect them to do the lazy/cheap thing and not have a dub (like Fate/Extella for the PS4), but damn, some of the voices are just...
Anywho, to sum it up, pretty good mobile game, keeps my attention, and will finally be able to read the story for it. And if you want to play it now japanese, will likely need the wiki...
