Instead of competing with 100 other people, there's now only 1 (out of 3 others who share my job) that's been in the building longer than me, and so has first dibs at weeks. It's pretty easy to work it out between ourselves before we give in our requests, though

If they are, those are doled out based on seniority. You're only guaranteed 2 weeks in "prime time" (basically June, July, August). It might have helped that I have always tended to plan my vacation against the grain.

The most common valid "urgent reason on behalf of the company" would be "multiple employees have requested their vacation days for the same period, so the employer has to organize everyone's vacation grants equally".

Yeah, attitudes got... weirdly intense throughout. I'm prrrrobably not going to take part in next year's March Mayhem: Prime Program or whatever it is, because WOW people made it stressful.

Yeah, it got a little intense there. Since the internet doesn't allow body language to show through, I'd suggest that those aiming for friendly trash talk should err on the side of being more goofy. Like...play it up as if it were a wrestling promo. It also allows the two sides to bounce off each other.

Good to note this. I think we just let things go this year thinking it was all in good fun. We don't want anyone to feel like they're being targets or trashed in a non-playful way. We will have to keep a closer eye on this next year and make sure we reign in some of that.

Good to note this. I think we just let things go this year thinking it was all in good fun. We don't want anyone to feel like they're being targets or trashed in a non-playful way. We will have to keep a closer eye on this next year and make sure we reign in some of that.

Perhaps we should officially start one of these? Unless you feel it should be kept in this thread instead.

And yeah, a little disappointed at how some people seemed to take it a bit seriously? I know it can be difficult to discern tone over text, and I think that was largely the problem. It wouldn't surprise me if there was actually some alt-accounting going on (given how the votes seemed to all come in late for Steeljaw/Pizzazz... RW/AM had a very comfortable lead when I looked yesterday). Kinda sad considering it's all just for fun.

Clearly the real problem was including all the non-TF characters, clearly people are much more serious about those here than those stupid robots.
