Shouldn't gravity be doing something?
Of course there's a figure of Rodimus as some kind of animal girl. Why would I be surprised by this?

I dunno, I think it's still pretty Rad.Transformers that don't TRANSFORM don't mean jack.
It means exactly Jack!
Well this thread quickly went to Pot.

I have no idea why I'd bother with this when I can buy actual transforming versions for at most half the price.

I got real excited when I saw that Tarn. But then I saw the company that's making it. I maintain my first statement.
Transformers that don't TRANSFORM don't mean jack.
Do you also expect Spider-Man toys to do anything a spider can?
This is such a false equivalency I can't even.

Yeah. Transformers toys generally do transform.
No Spider-Man toys to date (that I am aware of) have caught thieves just like flies.

I was interested in Tarn, but $300 for an action figure? Nope.

Hasbro won't license a transformable Transformer to another company. So any licensed third party stuff will always be of the non-transformable type.
Yeah, we just had the requisite knee-jerk "what's the point of a Transformer that doesn't transform" stuff there and whether it's by Hasbro fiat or not, the toy is the the toy it is. But it wouldn't look this nice in the details as a transforming figure no matter who made it (whether that's HasTak or MMC.)
That Optimus Prime model kit is bizarre. Mostly the fact that the redesign looks quite sexy in the drawing but (baggy) pants in plastic form, like the reverse of the Drift figure's interpretation of the comic design.

Angry skull dump truck Optimus Prime might be fun.

It already was kinda.

The proportions and angles are all just subtly off from the art, though. Optimus Lagann looks great, I'd watch that anime, the kit is not capturing it.
