He had been quiet since before Superior Spidey and with his last scheme he had to have something to top it. Though this is definitely more to his style this time around. Sad though I have yet to have a Spider-Woman book starring

Ugh. I just read the revamped how it should have been Clone Saga revamp miniseries and one of the major pluses was the lack of Spidercide. Really the only downside to the revamp was the lack of time with Ben in his Spider-man costume and the fact that he survives unlike the in canon version which makes me want to replace years of canon with this.

But in the current, digitized world, trivial information is accumulating every second, preserved in all its triteness. Never fading, always accessible. Rumors about petty issues, misinterpretations, slander... All this junk data preserved in an unfiltered state, growing at an alarming rate. It will only slow down social progress, reduce the rate of evolution. You seem to think that our plan is one of censorship. What we propose to do is not to control content, but to create context.

Screw Uncle Ben. Bring back BEN REILLY.

So 2 issues into the Clone Conspiracy and Jackal is acting pretty benevolent. Really this is the writers way of coping out of killing off so many characters over the years. It's almost a tad insulting. On the other hand if it possibly brings back Ben I'd love them forever. But Kaine has finally made his comeback along with another Web Warrior bringing warnings that not all as is it seems with Jackal's operation. Would like to know what Kaine has been up to since the end of Spider-Verse especially since he was no where to be seen during the Web Warriors series.

Ya like I said this is a cop out of all the deaths they've had over the years. I'm sure not all of the resurrections will stick but most of them will most likely be the classic villains. Though already taking Max out as Electro and giving it to his GF was a change.
Preview for next weeks ASM is up on Newsarama and shows Kaines time between Spider-verse and now.

I can't imagine they'd bring Kaine back just to kill him again. The letters page even mentions that he's the one guy they get tons of requests for to return. And while I'm sure the Other was part of it, wasn't he also resurrected by the Jackal like twice? I remember in Spider-Island, the Jackal said something along the lines of Kaine's degeneration actually being an out of whack REGENERATION factor. Whatever, I do hope he sticks around and goes and finishes the dangling plot threads from his own series. I wonder if Aracely is still hanging with the New Warriors or if they are even still a thing post Secret WArs...
