I'm a month late but I just saw this and as a huge fan of Mount & Blade and M&B Warband I got super excited.
It's pretty brief but packs a preview of a lot of content. Initially most notable is the graphics in every way are incredibly improved. I suppose that's not saying much since even new M&B looked rough, but the characters, weapons and armor, and terrain look pretty slick. Was never a make or break thing for me since the combat was so great and engrossing, but it still makes me a little giddy.
The castle sieges in the original games could often be just "sit on the siege tower and wait forever for it to roll to the walls" and I'm very happy to see that's getting reworked with actual siege weapons this go around.
Another annoyance from the original was all the clicking about menus to get around to equip you and your minions, seems like they're really streamlining that.
They're introducing crafting although it looks a little basic but that works for me personally. I want to be able to customize my weapons and armor without having to waste a bunch of time on it.
More options and seems actual strategy with the management of your towns and other holdings.
The towns and taverns look like they have a little more atmosphere and life to them.
Here's a second video with a little more footage.
Seems like there's going to be voice acting, although if that's a prime example it's terrible and I hope I can mute it.
And then here's some commentary on the developer's blogs about some of what we're seeing.
Coming out sometime 2016 so I can't wait to learn more about the game.
