So I noticed something a month ago that happened in March that had to do with something a couple of years ago, but.
I got into a fairly long IRC conversation with some folks in the GNOME design team, which isn't something I'd ever done with anything related to the Ubuntu project; hell, like three people invited me to GUADEC, the GNOME design conference, which is just ... yeah, not a conversation I expected to be having. = ] And System76, Ubuntu's closest hardware partner, has rolled out their plan for how to make the transition to the GNOME desktop. Their new default system theme is really lovely. = ]
The March update for GNOME actually implemented exactly the proposal I'd made in that IRC discussion. That feels good. X ]
