I'd love to see Star Wars Rogue Squadron and Battle for Naboo remastered for Switch, we've had Jedi Outcast and Episode One Racer as straight ports but those games with a visual spruce up would probably do well on it.

Your scientists have yet to discover how neural networks create self-consciousness, let alone how the human brain processes two-dimensional retinal images into the three-dimensional phenomenon known as perception. Yet you somehow brazenly declare that seeing is believing!

And if they do port Rogue Squadron I do hope its a port of the 64 version and not the PC version. Every time I lock S-Foils on PC it starts getting wonky with the camera.

That's the unreleased Wii game.
It was only in development but notably used motion for vehicle sections and the Wii Motion Plus for lightsaber duels, something Star Wars games on the Wii didn't.
It reportedly had Rogue Squadron in the package but it's not known if it was updated to Gamecube/Wii standards.
Switch has the Joy Cons but lacks the IR pointer but some games have motion aiming.

There's a Nintendo event tomorrow focussing on Paper Mario. The more interesting news is a first look reveal from Wayforward (River City Girls, Shantae, Mummy Demastered, etc) focusing on a franchise "new to them".
God, my soul for Wayforward to be involved with a 2D Metroid or something...

The anwser is far far more stupid Bakugan I mean seriously you waste Wayforward talents on a mother hugging Bakugan game??!!
Not enough forehead slaps in the world for this one Nintendo

No I know that it, was Nintendo's hype of the game itself and being coy about a Bakugan game like it was damn trade secret

Yeah, it baffles me Nintendo went to the effort they did for a BAKUGAN game. Even as a "Third Party title", Wayforward could have been working on a new Double Dragon, or a NES remaster like Ninja Gaiden or any number of retro-is projects that would have made more sense than promoting a Bakugan tie in.
God, 2020 continues to be a garbage year. Transformers and GI Joe will probably be saddled with 3rd rate mobile developers for their console games, while friction' Bakugan is developed by Wayforward....

The performance verdict on Crysis on Switch. Compromised, of course, but visual fidelity and implementation are better than last generation consoles. Frame rate takes healthy hits on major action sequences, but generally runs okay. Actually kind of reminds me of Feral's impressive Alien Isolation port where they managed to leverage the console's strengths to make a version BETTER than prior home ports of the game.

Just Batman Arkham Trilogy (Origins, Asylum and City) Dead Space Trilogy and Mass Effect Trilogy to go to make Switch perfect.

Hey, it's clearance season! Time to do some price checking on the "non-assigned" discount games at Walmart and Target for deals!
Today I got the Shovel Knight Treasure Trove for $15 (marked as such) and Digimon Cyber Sleuth Complete for $21 (which was NOT marked as being on clearance). I also saw Yooka Layla and the Impossible Lair for $15, Terraria for $21, FIFA 19 for $5 (saw 18 for $3 a couple weeks back), and there were several others. I saw Final Fantasy X/X2 marked to $15 a couple weeks ago, but didn't get it (probably should have).
So, time to keep them peepers open, YMMV with Wally World.
