Gotta say I'm liking Nova a lot more than I did when I first tried her out.  Dunno if she got an overhaul since then or if I've just gotten better at Warframe.  Her Antimatter Drop is a little tricky to control, but I can see building around Null Star/Molecular Prime as a way of controlling crowds.  Teleportation is kind of a hoot as well, though I don't know how useful it would be in non-open areas.

 

She's also super nimble, which fits my play style well.

I've very much become a Nova main. I had to save back the platinum for the Atomica skin in between the announcement and the release. = ] And now I've got that Tachyon helmet and they look so good together....

 

Other than Molecular Prime, no one of her abilities is spectacular, and it's hard to land on a build where all of them are useful at once. Like, Narrow Minded is really a necessity for Null Star and Molecular Prime, but cripples Wormhole, and Null Star is pretty self-defeating without Molecular Fission, and then you need some power strength for Molecular Prime's slow to jump from barely noticeable to basically shutting down the map, and Antimatter Drop is basically unaffected by anything but needs a decent amount of efficiency to be practical, so there are a lot of ways to lean all into one or two abilities at a time but not a lot of builds that use all four. I had been playing her with maxed duration and 144% power strength, to get the most out of Null Star and Molecular Prime while just ignoring the other abilities, but it's not a very fun way to play. 

 

After the durability changes and then Scarlet Spear making it relatively easy for me to get a full set of Arcane Guardian, I've put a little less into her Duration, usually don't have any power strength mods, and still have her range limited, but have Escape Velocity on so that I get a speed boost from using portals. It starts at 7s but scales with duration, so the ability augment is itself only really useful if you do have at least 200% duration on. But I can still get that much along with 60% efficiency from Fleeting Expertise, keep Molecular Fission, and even squeeze in Umbral Intensify if I need it. It's not really an optimal build, but it's fun because I get to use everything. 

 

Wormhole is still an energy hog, but I can drop one here and there when I want to refresh my speed boost while also using it for its mobility purposes, and even at 33% range it's still a pretty decent hop in most interior maps. And I tend to pump Antimatter Drop with my melee, since at least with Primed Reach on, I can get a decent amount of damage into the orb just by casting it in the direction of a mob and starting to hack and slash in that direction. Unlike shooting at it, it doesn't really require me to pay a lot of attention to what the orb is doing that way, and just ends up being a periodic damage pulse that doesn't otherwise interrupt my meleeing.

Finished Dragon Quest 11's post game. That sure was a load of unnecessary exposition and backtracking but I guess that's why it was delegated to postgame.

Old School RuneScape has a few hardcore modes that limit how you can interact with other players and the game itself, with the most intense one called Ultimate Ironman limiting you to your 27 inventory slots and 11 equipment slots. You can't even use banks or even keep any items when you die.

 

Anyways I think OSRS needs to go one more, Extreme Ironman, where you can't even play the damn game.

There's actually a popular YouTuber who's doing the hardcore Ultimate Ironman Mode in OSRS while ALSO limiting himself to one part of the game world so he can do what's called the Theatre of Blood, probably one of the hardest challenges in the game.

 

To put it simply: in the Theatre of Blood, you have to fight six bosses.

 

The bosses are ranked as the strongest, third strongest, fifth strongest, sixth strongest, seventh strongest, eighth strongest, eleventh strongest, and thirteenth strongest monsters in the game.

 

There's uh more than six rankings because the final boss has three forms with different levels, with their final form being level 1520.
