I think their reasoning is something like "How much can we charge for a yearly Tetris subscription and still catch enough whales to turn a profit?"

It's worse than that.

 

It's a weekly sub.

 

They expect people to pay $5 a WEEK for Tetris without ads.

 

(Also according to some reports, it used to be a one-time $5 purchase to disable ads and now they're trying to get people who had previously paid the $5 to sub by reenabling ads for them. IDK that feels like it violates both Apple and Google's TOS?)

Gosh, I hadn't looked, but you're right. I know that over time I will have more and more of the things and Baro always has higher odds of being disappointing for me, but that seems like a uniquely disappointing spread.

So it turns out that the Hate is a lot of fun.  I was expecting Scythes  to be slow and clumsy weapons, but the Hate can get going super fast, especially with Berserker equipped. Almost as much of a blender as Orthos Prime.

 

Also, like, going to be doing some gameplay videos. Nothing fancy, no narration or anything (not yet anyway), but I remember hearing how some of the devs were complaining that so much Warframe content is just the Simulacrum rather than anything showing off the actual gameplay/levels/AI behavior, and, since I have a capture device and tend to spend a lot of time playing, I figured I could record some of it and upload so there would be some more actual gameplay out there.

yea the scythe weapons are a lot of fun. i have a reaper prime on my nekros with Berserk and life steal.

OK a quarter of the way though Just Cause 4 and several things are apparent

 

First: Just Cause 2 is still the better game

Second: weapon depletion in the this game is horrible and leaves you with no weapons to cause chaos, one of the games main features is nutured hell you can't even snap off chainguns from there mounts like you could in JC2

Third: In a game where over the top action is key only being allowed to carry 2 guns is just dumb

Forth: One of the key thing with JC2 and JC3 was if it was painted red and you destroy it its gone for good a great way to show just how much damage and progress you have made In JC4 red objects respawn

Fifth: There is no base take over anymore there is region control stuff but the satisfaction of chasing off the the dictators army from a base and claiming it as your own is not really present here.

 

One of the good things about JC4 though is the size and scope of the map/game area it is vastly improved over 3 but as far as diversity JC2 is still far superior

 

if I where to give the game a score based on what I played so far its a 65

well the same mode also does prevent you from interacting with other players in any way other than chatting so i mean yeah

Some people want the adrenaline rush from being in a life-or-death situation without actually risking their lives. It's usually a symptom of being so well-off that you're bored because you have nothing to worry about.
