And I agree with you in principal, but tubi is neither canadian (or is it? *checks* nope.) nor an internet service provider. Don't get me wrong: rogers, telus, bell, et al. are all part of the problem, but not my current or specific problem.

I wasn't talking about Bell or Rogers as ISPs, but as media providers. Sadly, the same companies that sell us the internet also happen to be broadcasting titans that own the distribution rights for most popular content

Didn't realise how dead RuneScape 3 must be until yesterday when I learned that the online counter is for both RS3 AND Old School (and the forums but like no one uses those)

 

So, using the data right now from the website, it's not 160,217 people playing RS3 and 119,825 people playing OSRS.

 

It's 119,825 people playing OSRS and only 40,392 people playing RS3.

 

IDK feels kind of dishonest, I guess? You could argue that it's always done this like back when you just had RuneScape and RuneScape Classic it combined the player counts, but I feel there's a difference between combining the player counts when one version of the game LITERALLY would have like 50 people online (cause, you know, it hadn't been updated since 2003) vs combining the player counts when one version of the game has like 3/4ths the player base.

im glad the new trackmania game does not have a subscription feature, it just has a feature where you

pay money and you get access to the game for a certain period of time and once that period runs out, you have to pay money again to access for it another period of time

Now I understand why this game was romhacked into Decap-Attack when it was ported to America. It's actually a tie-in game to a pre-existing japanese property that americans weren't familiar with.
