No bike ride for me today. I spent the day at the hospital.
Stop that, I'm fine. It was a veterans hospital. My grandfather is probably going to pass over the weekend.
I came home just in time... to fix the hugging dishwasher again. For some reason I cannot fathom or understand: the fresh water line was leaking, and stopped when I turned the water off, and didn't start again when I turned the water back on. I tightened the whole thing but still don't know why it did that, or if it will do it again.

New miles dont start until January 1, 2016

4000.11 + 3.1 = 4003.21
Ran OUTSIDE for the first time since this Hamstring BS started. Felt good to get out. Started to get a bit sore around 2.5 but slowed down and pushed it out to 3.1 then walked the rest of the way home.
Now Im homing icing it. Plan to take a hot shower then put my voodoo cream on it and wrap it up.

4003.21+8.4=4011.61
It was a good ride today: I lost all sensation in my groin.

4011.61 + 19.8 = 4031.41 miles!

I'm so used to getting my exercise in during the afternoons that a morning ride just... it just killed me. I am dripping sweat, and damned tired. I'm not dizzy, and still have all the sensation in my groin, so I'll claim it was a good ride.

Congrats to all that contributed that we made our 4K goal!
19.8?! What did you do? Hopefully not lose more that just groin sensation like Wonko. Kidding
I was all serious about dieting again when I met a friend who gave me 3 doughnuts then I finished his popcorn later on, yikes.
Sorry that is a couple of days worth of walking. We did a bit of walking this past weekend and I just got around to logging it in.

4039.76 + 8.4 = 4048.16 miles!
I had a pretty good day of walking yesterday.

4048.16+8.24=4056.40
I realize now that I am probably sick. Yesterday, I not only woke up late, but was in physical pain and felt awful, but I also understand that a lot of it was mental: a square peg trying to fit through a round hole, if you will. My thought processes feel much smoother today in comparison, and I am again able to focus on multiple things at one time.
So probably not 100% yet, but feeling much better.

Oh man... am I beat. At least my head ache is gone.

Family, friends and Christmas meets are getting me down. Well, more like getting me round. Today, friend treated me to dinner along with his visiting friends. Tomorrow, there's a dinner from the subdivision. Sunday, Christmas dinner with transformer friends with a House of the Dead and table top gaming hang out.
FoooOOOoood.
The other day, I treated my other friend to a dinner and got stuffed. He hasn't seen me in a long time and said, it not so many words, that I got fat.
Argh! *shakes fist at Santa* *shakes belly like bowl full of jelly*
There is nothing wrong in going out with friends, hitting parties, and enjoying yourself.
But no one is responsible for your eating habits but you. You have to consciously choose to control your input: in some cases limiting, in some cases picking the healthier option on the table. If you hit a restaurant; get a salad instead of fries, or eat family style so everyone has a little bit less on the table.
Choosing to eat healthier, and interacting with the world at large isn't just physical: you need to exercise your will as well. You cannot have iron abs without an iron will to drive them.
