My plans:  :hmm  2020:  :)

@  -LittleAutob... : (11 July 2020 - 06:02 PM)

Our plans for 2020 were as amazing as Optimus Prime. But then 2020 came like Hot Rod.

Indeed....

@  Rycochet : (11 July 2020 - 01:11 PM)

Hey you, get moving, it's not too far, you're looking good so come as you are. Hey you, you never know what you'll see, when it's through that door with the 73.

@  Rycochet : (11 July 2020 - 01:10 PM)

Hey you, get ready, get on your feet. Get into gear and hit the street.

@  Maximus Ambus : (11 July 2020 - 12:46 PM)

I recall number 73 (old british show) discussing the Transformers movie and had the presenters trying to transform a few figures, one argued his deflated beach ball was a Transformer too.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (11 July 2020 - 08:03 AM)

And he's a big ball, but he's not the biggest ball of them all. (That'll be Pulse Unicron.)

@  Maximus Ambus : (11 July 2020 - 07:37 AM)

Trypticon so scared my Primus figure he turned into a ball.

@  ▲ndrusi : (09 July 2020 - 09:56 PM)

King Nine, however, will not return.

@  -LittleAutob... : (09 July 2020 - 02:06 PM)

Okay?

@  Otaku : (09 July 2020 - 07:47 AM)

@TheMightyMollusk Ah, but the series itself has pronounced "Bass" both ways. ;)  Oh, 90s English Capcom video game voice acting...

@  Maximus Ambus : (09 July 2020 - 03:14 AM)

Looking at my Titan Returns collection I can see they realised they didn't have to paint the Titan Masters after wave one, lazy bums.

@  Maruten : (08 July 2020 - 09:13 PM)

No, I'm going with "fish".

@  TheMightyMol... : (08 July 2020 - 04:19 PM)

He stated that it's in reference to the Mega Man character, so it follows the series' tradition of music names.

@  Cybersnark : (08 July 2020 - 03:59 PM)

The real question is if it's "bass" as in music or "bass" as in the fish.

@  Otaku : (08 July 2020 - 01:27 PM)

Well, at least now I know how to pronounce @Bass X0 's screen name. ^^'  Rather, I think I'd just forgotten.  In my defense, it really does look like an emoticon or maybe just "decoration", which is what a lot of folks add to their screen names online.  Usually because someone has the name they really want. XD

@  ▲ndrusi : (08 July 2020 - 01:27 PM)

Extremely unimpressed with your idea that someone making a negative observation you don't like means they "got triggered."

@  NotVeryKnightly : (08 July 2020 - 11:16 AM)

You know somebody asked "And this would be in relation to... what exactly?"

@  Bass X0 : (08 July 2020 - 11:15 AM)

Its because someone got triggered over my random musings instead of just ignoring them. If I read one of your comments that is of no relevance or interest to me, I don't feel the need to say so.

@  -LittleAutob... : (08 July 2020 - 10:56 AM)

All this over someone's username lol

@  ▲ndrusi : (08 July 2020 - 08:34 AM)

Bazro.

@  Tm_Silverclaw : (08 July 2020 - 06:34 AM)

It could be Bass 10-0

@  Nevermore : (08 July 2020 - 06:11 AM)

How do you pronounce yourself? "Bass Ex-O" or "Bass Ex-Zero"?

@  Bass X0 : (08 July 2020 - 03:23 AM)

I did almost go with Vile Bass X0, because Vile is cool too.

@  PlutoniumBoss : (07 July 2020 - 08:34 PM)

Bossk Saw

@  ▲ndrusi : (07 July 2020 - 04:16 PM)

Bass XD

@  Bass X0 : (07 July 2020 - 03:43 PM)

And its not Bass XO, its Bass X0, as in Bass, X and Zero from the Mega Man series.

@  -LittleAutob... : (07 July 2020 - 02:33 PM)

@Trpodeca :( :(

@  -LittleAutob... : (07 July 2020 - 02:32 PM)

Thats what a gray rock is? Then I'm not one.

@  Trpodeca : (07 July 2020 - 02:12 PM)

Man I just learnt about what seemed like a really cool show, only to realize it was a dream and it dosen't really exist.

@  Bass X0 : (07 July 2020 - 01:02 PM)

Just something I read that I wanted to share. I heard "gray rock" mentioned in a video, so I looked it up and that was the definition.

@  TheMightyMol... : (07 July 2020 - 12:20 PM)

It's a fancy way of saying "Ignore annoying people".

@  NotVeryKnightly : (07 July 2020 - 12:15 PM)

Bass XO has a habit of pasting random drivel here as if doing so were profound.

@  wonko the sane? : (07 July 2020 - 11:30 AM)

And this would be in relation to... what exactly?

@  Bass X0 : (07 July 2020 - 11:25 AM)

"One strategy for dealing with a narcissist or sociopath is to act like a "gray rock," meaning that you become uninteresting and unresponsive. You don't feed their needs for drama or attention. You don't show emotion, say anything interesting, or disclose any personal information"

@  Nevermore : (06 July 2020 - 07:23 PM)

Oh wow. Studio Series Offroad Bumblebee is awesome. His articulation is amazing.

@  -LittleAutob... : (06 July 2020 - 11:18 AM)

Oof-

@  Maximus Ambus : (05 July 2020 - 01:10 AM)

I got Studio Series 39 Cogman yesterday and woke up to find he'd decapitated my titans returns figures.

Tried to run this morning...it didnt go so well.  Leg was still pretty sore when trying.  Lots of bruising now in the leg as well.  Already had a 2 week follow up set for tomorrow.  Reading online today the bruising seems to be normal, but I think this is a Grade 2 and not a Grade 1 like the doc told me 2 weeks ago.  Ah well, its slowly getting better.

That sucks those things get shut down.  Are there not any other roads you could pedal around on?

The wobble means the wheel prob needs to be re trued.

Was suppose to go biking/walking but, er, stayed in. I pumped up the tired and wd-40'd the bike chain though. The chain skips or something goes click when I pedal uphill though. What should I be doing to fix it?

Oh, there's plenty of roads, and more than a few circuits I could work out, but the safest, clearest paths are the bike paths. Functionally, all it really means is that everywhere that was a bike path until sunday is now... parking. Which it was anyway. Other than the pedestrian overpasses being chained up, not very much has changed.

Yeah, it's more than likely something simple, but the entire bike needs to be stripped, cleaned and tuned anyway, so I'm leaving for late winter before I get to it. It'll be ready come spring, and I'll just steal my sisters bike on saturday when I head over to my brothers place. I ain't walking there, and ain't no way I'm paying 7 bucks for a round trip bus ride.

No miles but did an hour plus doing light saber routines. Arm hurts a little bit. Learned (spelling probably wrong):

Obi-ani - the laser deflecting twirls.
Gemzo - saber dueling routine
Shicho - what padawans learn
Sombrada - sort of shadow back and forth sword

I'll try to retain the moves for when the movie starts, haha

Had my follow up today.

No running for 3 weeks.  Was given some kind of cream to put on my leg every 4 hours.  Light cycling is ok.  grrrr

Sorry man. But still; leg injuries are serious business. You can get by with one hand, one arm, but you need both friggen legs to walk properly.

Spent two hours in the yard raking leaves! Wasn't that bad really, just cold and tired.

3856.29 + 3.1 = 3859.30

Did a veeeery slow 5K on the elliptical this morning, finishing just over 30 minutes.  Im remotivated though.  I got a little down over this.  My run time was getting faster, I was losing weight and really starting to feel good.  This hamstring injury was a big set back, I knew this a week ago, but Im saying it today, I wont let it hold me back.  I have goals for this next year: Mountain bike race, half marathon, spartan race, 90+ on my PT test.  Today was step 1 of getting back after it.

5k in 30min is slow for you?  That's... almost my jogging time.  Guh, that's fast then so slow walk a bit more, hehe.

I just biked around with my nephew today.  Bike just goes click when I go uphill so I'm guessing the chain slips on the gear thingy.  My friend is leaving for a trip so I'm eating all his snacks tomorrow before he goes.  Er, don't want the food to go to waste.  Though now it would go to waist, ugh.

In High School cross country I was running a 5K in 18 minutes.  Normally Im around 26, 27 minutes and I hate that time.  Today was just to get the muscle moving.  I wasnt really going for time, yet at the same time the competiveness in my kicks in and I was getting mad at the time.  Really Im just glad to have finished without any pain.

You could just give the snacks away instead of eating them all...just saying.

as for the bike, the rear derailleur prob needs adjusted.  Id go online and find videos on how to do it.

I should jump on the stationary and log some miles... but I got a splitting head ache. Between the yard work yesterday (2.5 hours of raking, lifting and cleaning.) and cleaning the house this morning; I'll just take a long walk this afternoon to balance it out.

3857.29 + 15.33 = 3872.62

Did an hour on the exercise recumbent bike this morning then 4 sets of 15 @ 50lbs on the ab machine and 3 sets of 10 on the leg raise.  Could really feel that hamstring in the last set but from reading yesterday exercises like that are supposed to be good for it. All body weight.

Reading more about the Spartan races.  They have a thing called the Trifecta medal.  You have to do a Spartan Sprint (3+ miles of obstacle racing, 20+ obstacles), the Super Spartan (8+ miles, 25+ obstacles), the Spartan Beast (13+ miles, 30+ obstacles).  When you complete each one within a calender year you get the finisher medal for that event PLUS a piece of the Trifecta medal that makes up about a dinner plate sized medal when you complete all 3 (Think Zelda and the Triforce except in a circle, not a triangle).  There are all kinds of Sprints and Supers in this region of the states, but it looks like all of the Beasts are Ohio, Vermont or Canada.  Might need leave for the Ohio one, its a day drive from home in Illinois.

3872.62 + 3 = 3875.62

1 mile run (10:42)

Chest and Back, 2 exercises each part, 3 sets of 10

1 mile run (9:36)

Crunch machine, 4 sets of 15

Pullover machine, 3 sets of 10

1 mile run (8:40)

all runs were done on the elliptical.  First 2 runs were done at level 1. Last started at 3 and ended at 7.  Leg felt really good and has all day.

You guys want a good arm workout? Boy do I have one for you!

Go to a lumber store, buy a 4 inch, by 4 inch, by 10 feet long post; This is the kind used to make decks. Specifically, the upright support posts. And a hand saw. Now, cut yourself 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch slices off the post alternating between right and left hand.

I'm used to using hand tools, till I was about 16, I literally had no choice. Cutting one in half took me nearly 10 minutes and I had to switch arms four times.

That's fine, you'll get guns afterwards, hehe.

I haven't been adding miles but it's 125 miles until 4000?  Can we reach it before 2015 ends?  4 miles a day would just about do it, I think.  I'll try to give as much as I can, er, starting two days from now.  Darth Prime needs to heal plus he's got marriage (:) ).  Predaking has a baby too.

I didn't get much walking done lately, but I did get some in over the past coupe weeks! That puts us a bit closer to our 4000 mile goal!

So fat. I've ate so much food this week and now just piled on 2 plates from Thanksgiving. I MUST workout 6 days a week when I get back.
