Looks to be a decent amount of new tooling. So far we just know that it's planned for the Lost Age line in Japan. It seems like a likely one for the west, and you just know they'll do a Platinum version.

I thought the Voyager figure was Evasion Prime.

 

Anyway whee, more screen-accurate AOE Prime. Not sure if I'd buy this, but if it's not too hard to get, well I'll be glad I didn't buy the earlier ones.

I'm thinking this won't see a release here personally. At least. Of for. While. These types of retools tend to be Takara initiated things.

*Not even really that. It was the MP Guide. It's the only time I've ever turned out to be right, as Randy's always right, damnit.

Looks like the retool doesn't do anything about the backpack, so I assume that would require a redesign from the ground up, yes?

Yeah, I still can't get past the backpack that makes no effort to transform into anything...

It does have a giant "HASBRO" stamped across the photo.

 

It looks nice, but I'm pretty content with the existing Generations Leader. I just wish there were going to be a nice deco for the FE at some point so I'd have one big enough to hang out with the various ROTF iterations.

Robot Kingdom have confirmed, via their FB page, that this figure will also feature a removable faceplate. That's going to make a lot of people interested.

Honestly, in that picture, it doesn't look like a huge improvement. The business of the deco really masks a lot of the non-weapon mold alterations,

An all-new mold is probably the only way it'd be good enough for me. Not just the backpack, but something about the physique seems a little off.
