Historically speaking this is what D.C. Has always done.
DC/WB has gotten so desperate for a critical hit they've been reduced to poaching Marvel guys
Poaching Marvel's top talent in hopes their magic rubs off on them is simply what D.C. does.

The plan for 2019 is to release four Batman related films. Gotham City Sirens around Valentine’s Day weekend, Nightwing on Memorial Day weekend, Batgirl in August and The Batman in November.

No, we don't all know everything but we should spread and share that what we do know.
If I'm consistently misspelling a word, I would want and expect people to correct me as should I imagine all decent people who know the value of good literacy.
Its just arrogant laziness to know you're spelling a word incorrectly and not correct yourself or ignore the advice when people do tell you how to spell a word correctly.

has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that they have NO IDEA how to make any other character work in movie form...
and sometimes they cant even get THAT right. im looking at YOU, batman and robin!
