Also, mileage may vary. Some cats act like dogs, and/or are super cuddly. One of ours has anxiety/PTSD and occasionally demands pets/lap warmth. The other is a fiesty goblin who is either 100% asleep or 100% mischief. Most surprisingly, they hardly ever wake me up in the morning for food.

When I was little there was a super friendly neighborhood cat that came to visit me sometimes. We had a broken window, so he came right in. I liked that cat.
