Or, just wait for the hosting server company to move to another country and then stop caring.

Florida tried this and got blocked in court, and this proposal looks more aggressive than ours. They might not have any better luck.

Really the biggest chaos factor here is that judges typically don't understand what social media companies do, what these proposals would do, or even what these proposals claim they're trying to do, and we can never be sure which way that's going to cut.

A bit of good news, because we don't have a better thread for it: Cawthorn's out. And while I'm already seeing people saying "He shouldn't have blabbed about the coke parties"... it was an election. He wasn't booted off the ballot by the party leadership. So unless his entire constituency knew about the coke parties all along and had a vested interest in keeping it secret, I say he was just a loudmouth asshole and people were sick of him.

So in other words Republicans did nothing at any point to kick an out and proud Nazi from their party or any related appointments.

Of course this was just his bid for a Senate seat. He could still hold onto his position in the house, unfortunately.

*Edit* I'm an idiot, didn't notice he ALSO lost the house primary. We have around 7 more months to deal with the idiot having any real power, then he'll just be another Fox news talking head.

https://www.newsweek.com/full-list-203-republicans-voted-against-domestic-terrorism-bill-1708018

Members of Congress approved the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act by a vote of 222 to 203, with Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger of Illinois joining Democrats in voting yes.

Four Republican members of the House didn't vote on the new legislation, which was passed in the wake of a mass shooting at a Tops supermarket in Buffalo, New York, that left 10 people dead.

They have no morals or scruples. Their only goal is "screw the left" and anyone else is just collateral damage.

If any statement deserves a confused Tucker Carlson caveman-seeing-fire-for-first-time look, it's this one. But no, he saves that for people suggesting that we help each other.

Clearly that means abortion can't be banned, or else D.C. would no longer have a source of power.
