Finding someone to replace him is going to be a trick. You'd have to find someone who wants to be PM enough that they'll do it despite the massive drawbacks the position currently has (party approval in the toilet, having to deal with multiple crises including several of their own making)

The National Party here had much the same problem, but they seem to have finally found someone to reverse their terrible polling at least.

The SNP remains dominant in Scotland. Quite a strong showing given they’ve been the main player in Scottish politics for the last 15 years with still no sign of any significant drop in popularity.
