I should give the first game another go, I got it for free a while back during one of the limited time giveaways, but haven't touched it yet. I remember bouncing off of it pretty hard pre-pandemic, but since then, Ghost of Tsushima gave me a bit of a taste for the genre, so maybe I'll take better to it now.

I do not do well in Open World games. Tried Tsushima, kept getting distracted/feeling obligated to do everything and losing track of the various quest lines.

thats kinda the point i feel in those games. ive played Skyrim multiple times but ive never finished the main plot.
I've finished the main story in Skyrim all three times I've played it. But it honestly felt like little more than a really involved sidequest.
yea i spent most of yakuza kiwami walking around beating up street thugs cause i liked the combat so much.

I said main story. I said nothing about it having a plot.
I got lost in the wilderness and kinda lost interest. Skyrim felt like an ocean with the depth of a puddle.
And itll be remade till the end of time.
At least the modders can keep having a field day with it.
