The Twit destroying Twitter is a Twaitor

Yeah so Tesla stock, which Elon has most of his wealth tied up to, ended the day yesterday at time of posting at $137.80. To put that in perspective, Elon erased $4,997,440,000 of his own wealth with his inability to not be the main character of the internet.

Ironbite-let's see what'll happen end of week.

$TSLA has been on a long downhill slide even before Melon decided he wanted to buy twitter so he could ban people who make fun of him/track his jet. It's still ridiculously overvalued for what it is. There's no practical reason for a niche EV manufacturer with consistent QC issues that consistently overpromises (Autopilot, Cybertruck, etc.) to have a higher market cap than Toyota, Honda, GM, Ford, and Fiat/Chrysler/Pugeot/etc. combined, other than investors buying hype.

Yeah no. Tesla was slowly sliding it's way back down to what it should've been. Musky's antics over on Twitter has caused it to free fall.

Ironbite-and instead of settling comfortably into what it should be, it falls off a cliff.

Oh, and a chunk of those journalists that were supposedly unsuspended still can't post. They've been technically unbanned, but can't actually do anything until they delete a specific tweet that Twitter claims contains location info, but is just reporting on the whole Elonjet thing. There's two other suspensions also of people that covered Musk that are still in play.

And the financial end for Twitter is still trying to outrace the technical one:

Admittedly I've never tried to archive anything from Twitter before, but this isn't normal, is it?

Does Twitter still have a working API? Because if it does, it would probably save the Archive a lot of bandwidth, clock cycles, and redundant storage space if they just built a dedicated Twitter crawling bot that can read raw tweets the same way third party apps do, and set up a read-only mirror that pulls from that data. And really all the crawler has to do is fill out a list of extant accounts, and then periodically check each of them (at a frequency directly proportional to how often the user tweets) for new posts.

It's possible that they never did that because they don't want to treat Twitter as different from other websites, but desperate times...

Isn't telling your investors that your personal Twitter account is "critical" to a stock price a flat out admission that you are manipulating that stock?

Yo so Twitter's been kinda screwing all weekend right? There's a reason for it.

Ironbite-oh god this man's gonna drive everyone to drink.
He's driving his employees and shareholders to drink. He's driving everyone else to popcorn.
