Amazon is commited to five seasons of this (HUGE MISTAKE), but its likely to loose viewers as it carries on, it openned to a lot of viewers but as its gone on, the viewer numbers have dropped according to Nelson Ratings, they been despreate to get people to watch their show, but the puff pieces they put out, only make it look worse, one article, they call fans "Patently Evil"

Of course, this show is a massive disaster to the point, they decided on the final ep, to purposely have a glitch where you get a pop up advert for some other show on their services and you are forced to exit the show and go back in, its so they can infilate the numbers, but then, they hired two inexperienced showrunners, who NEVER had a single film pitch, made and they say they lowered themselves down to TV and asked J.J. Adrams to make a phone call and Amazon for some reason, decided to give them a gig despite the fact, there are far more experienced people out there who would of likely been much better choices! From what I gathered about season 2, which is in production, now, they are going to make Sauron, similar to a character from Breaking Bad, instead of letting Sauron be himself, the only saving grace is that the next season is like two years away and by then, nobody will be talking about it and people will have moved on and forgotten about this show! What I heard of ep 6 plot, it sounds very much like something from a Saturday morning cartoon back in the 80s as a one off plot, but then the whole Volcano, going boom, should of killed everyone, instead, nearly everyone surives, despite that fact!

They hired two writers from JJ Abrams University to run this show, who predictably gave us seven episodes of Mystery Box Theater. That, in turn, means they had to cram all the big reveals into the finale.

It's amazing how little a billion dollars can buy you these days.
