Renaming threads

Is there a way to do this other than editing the first post, thus flagging it with a "This post was edited on [date]" message? And if not, can there be?

It's not there for me either; must be an admin-only feature.

Pocket, this is my desktop view of a thread I created as a regular user. Many times in the existence of the new site, I have gone to the upper right at the top of a thread I created to find the edit thread title option.

By the way, Kalidor, kudos for including this feature in this iteration of the site. It's so sheerly helpful when adjusting information relating to a on-again-off-again television series.
