The other day, my kid was opening a Kinder egg, and got a little robot dimetrodon figure. I noticed how well he complimented Sights:

I realized that he naturally lent himself to being turned into a little Battlemaster himself. I ended up buying a lot of these little "Kinder Infinimix" figures of e-bay with plans to convert them. Due to how easy a project it was, the Dimetrodon was the first one I finished:

All I did was swap out the original tail for a cut missile off a Dollar Tree figure, which makes a great axe handle:

He's compatible with blast-effects, too, but currently there's no handle on the bottom for someone to hold him in gun mode:

And here's the rest of the lot that I bought. A lot of good potential little weapon buddies:

Not sure what all I'm gonna make out of them, but I have some ideas.

I thought we can get the new Kinder Eggs over here now... they don't stash the toys inside the actual candy any more.

Those are amazing! Too bad we can't easily get Kindereggs here...

Yeah, the original toy my son got was from here in the good ol' U. S. of A., so at least some of these are to be found domestically.
The e-bay lot, though, I did buy from a seller in France (specifically, a seller that goes by mfr72). He has a ton of these things along with a huge variety of Kinder Egg toys. This particular line is called Infinimix, and there's everything from robot animals, more standard robots, vehicles, and Lego-Friends-esque characters & accessories.

I'm surprised that companies don't make things like these with 5mm handles on them as standard. Discount shops would have a field day selling them to collectors and kids as extra stuff for their toys.

And here I thought the original had a slot for the sword.

Looks like it helps justify the legs' length, at least.

Pity they didn't make Waspinator a Weaponzier, I can imagine them having his head detach from the body and be connected to his foot to recreate a scene from Beast Wars, to recreate another scene, what would need to be done is take a picture of the figure, print it out and then cut the picture up to create that time he got sliced up by Cheator I think it was!
