I'm hopeful, but I do fear that today's Mel Brooks isn't the Mel Brooks of 30 years ago. He's a LOT older than he was during the years of his prime parodies and hasn't really done a proper one since 95.

Also it's direct-to-streaming, which probably means they're putting little to no effort into it.

Not 100% sure on that part. It's a mini-series, not a movie and streaming services aren't bad at those. We shall see, though.
