Seems like a sound financial plan. I'd say go for it!
(My Holy Grail is the Machine Robo 747 Robo; last I looked, a well-used one was somewhere north of $500, and one in good shape was right at a Grand. Needless to say, that's not happening any time soon.)

I don’t have a holy grail and if I did, I wouldn’t spend that much on it. Sure I can afford it but still seems like a waste for a single item that wouldn’t really do anything IMO.

Impulse bought a Legacy Silverbolt. He’s alright but the hind legs are “birth deformity” bad and they could have easily been bigger. There’s room for it in both modes. The wings not being completely painted sucks but I can fix that.

Also bought a Prime megatron knock off online. We’ll see how that one goes. Always did like that design.

I kinda wish they'd added a joint to give him toy wings... or at least the option to pretend like he can do the over the shoulder missile firing pose

a bigger more expensive toy shouldn't be worse.. but he kind of is

They were too busy coming up with a completely new transformation just to have everything end up in the same places.

Eh, old toy had bad proportions and janky ass wings because of the flapping gimmick. This isn't bad overall, just a bit disappointing. The hind legs really are terrible though, exacerbated by how damn long the front legs are.

Stupid 13 Primes mean it’ll take longer to get Rampage and Depthcharge. At least it looks like Bruticus is coming relatively soon.

That's true, but those two are fairly prominent characters who don't have any other forms to choose from, and Silverbolt + dragon Megatron shows they're aware of post-season 1. If they're gonna keep drawing from the Beast Wars well, there's not going to be much choice.

I have both and while the Cyberbeasts are fun... the Jets are much better.

I'm only down for transmetals if they do Airazor and finally give rattrap the joint to spin his backpack around the 'right way'

Yeah, that toy store I went to in South Florida still has them available (it's the Sonokong release, but it's the same as the Takara one minus the box being Korean) and I got my first payment from the trust but we gotta wait till tomorrow to deposit the check into my account and I wanted to get them as a birthday present for myself but y'know, grandpa died and all that happened.

Ironically I am currently IN South Florida and my mum even proposed going to the store in-person but I declined because of luggage space reasons and also the store is only physically open Thurs to Sun and we are literally leaving today, on Thursday. (And our plane takes off at 10am, which is when this store opens lol)

yeah Hellscream and MaxB ... arguable if they're better or not names... but yeah they kinda could have just stuck with Starscrem and BB

Hellscream sounds cool, in a late 90s tryhard way (although it also makes me think of Grom and Garrosh Hellscream from Warcraft), and Gigastorm does just sound like an upgrade from Megastorm. The other three Cyborg Beasts are kinda goofy.
