Customs Maximal Grimlock (Kingdom)

This custom is mainly just minor detailing, based upon the Reprolabels/Toyhax designs here:

These, in turn, were based upon the original Beast Wars Grimlock design:

I made some minor changes to the Toyhax design, such as painting the faceplate silver instead of white (by accident, but I liked it enough to keep it) and by extending the white and gold details on the legs to go around them. I was surprised that Toyhax used gold instead of white on the shoulders, so I used this as inspiration to bring a bit if his G1 colours back into the figure. I did this by painting his energo-sword metallic red (to match his abdomen) and by painting the inside of his spin-blade bolt-gun metal (to simulate the inside of his rifle). I also added bolt-gun metal to his claws, added additional grey, white and black markings to his beast mode and then added a white Autobot symbol to his beast mode head (to simulate how his natural markings could resemble a "hidden" Autobot symbol, as he was/is an Autobot). I also extended the pupils to be more "reptilian" (like the original toy) and added a white reflection to each eye. I also painted his beast mode teeth silver. In bot mode, I added a Maximal symbol on his right shoulder.
