Remember how in the early aughts there was that rash of Ghost investigation/haunting style shows that advocated DIY cleansing involving Sage and other nonsense?

You ever just wonder if it's because of those shows that a bunch of idiots didn't get their fool selves possessed and that's the reason the average intelligence of the species has plummeted in the double digits seemingly so rapidly?

wonko the sane?

You may test that assumption at your convinience.

If they were openly burning spices to remove malignant spirits from places: chances are they weren't the brightest bulbs to begin with. NOW they don't need to bother trying to hide the fact that they're dumb as a sack full of hammers.

how is he still broadcasting? Doesn't he owe some grieving parents billions? Take his shit. Sell it all, leave him a bridge to troll under and that's it.

Lot of idiots who buy into the junk he's peddling. He can't pay said parents unless he keeps making money and the only way he knows to make money is the conspiracy grift. He's been doing it for over 30 years after all.

He's not paying them anyway: all the money he makes goes to lawyers to fund appeals.

You know, if somebody gets convicted of a crime, they don't get to go free if they decide to appeal. They're still in prison until such time as the ruling is overturned. So why doesn't this guy have to cough up the money yet?

Because the US has three justice systems. One for minorities, one for poor whites, and one for the rich. And the third one basically just means everything sits in appeals forever.

Jim Bakker still has a television program and is still hawking crap after spending years in Federal Prison for Fraud, and people are surprised Alex Jones is still going?

I wonder if the people who make these things actually buy into the nonsense themselves, or if they're purposely trying to poison their customers out of a sense that they deserve it. Because if they were simply grifters after some easy money, they could much more easily (and cheaply) make them out of worthless rocks and claim they're special. How many of their customers are going to have the means to check?
