Well, nothing says they have to be non-transforming. Even the POTP ones transformed. I'm thinking something like a Legacy Skullgrin situation, more transforming Pretender shells. But swap out Skullgrin and Bomb-Burst for other Pretenders.

Mostly this. I'm intrigued by the mold, but I still have oversaturation fatigue from the original so I'm waiting for that or any redeco. The same (minus the mold fatigue) is true of Bludgeon; I'm waiting to see if the supposed Mayhem release is better than the existing one.
