Traitor Watch - The 45 Thread

No one seems to have a clue where Trump got the idea he was specifically being arrested on Tuesday, so I will not be surprised if it doesn't happen.

Conspiracy lunatic thread - people who believe in absurd nonsense are dangerous

I remember when the White House under Obama tried to exclude Fox News from interviews describing it as "not a news network" and CNN etc sided with Fox. I wonder if they still think that was a good decision.

    Why, why, why?

I forever bear the shame that the whole thing was devised by a New Zealander. Though in the UK, it was heavily pushed by a rich bugger who didn't like that he didn't have enough time to play golf in the evening. Now we may never be rid of it.

Sure, but there's a vital difference between her and the immigrants she's trying to stop, and that is that she is extremely rich.

It turns out that due to the agreement when Halli's company was acquired, Musk can't fire him without paying loads of money.

They tried that with porn. It didn't work because there's no possible way to implement such a filter perfectly.

On the upside, the backlash to this news seems to be hurting her chances.

Because apparently he fired everyone who knew how to automatically disable it for people who weren't paying, I guess?

Who's trying to break the internet today?

That would not be a good thing, given how much of our infrastructure these days depends on the internet working.

It wasn't already doing that? The first time I was hit with "For You", it had one of Musk's tweets at the top. I have a browser extension that removes "For You" altogether installed now.

Yeah, they made changes to the API, apparently not realizing that their own site uses the API to do esoteric things like "making a tweet". Clearly there was no chance that was going to backfire.

    The COVID Vaccination Thread

You can basically see where the New Zealand government threw their hands in the air and gave in: There's been no word on vaccinations past the second booster, which was only for certain people (the elderly or health compromised) so I've no idea if we're getting yearly vaccinations or not.

    Corrections and the Transgender Inmate

The crimes in question were 50 years ago. The last escape was in 1987. At this point, I think they're irrelevant unless she's still assaulting people in prison more recently Which isn't clear from that article.

    Transformers: EarthSpark

I'm hoping they have more Cons who defected and are working with the Autobots and GHOST. It makes sense that some would be Megaton loyalists rather than cause loyalists, and it's always fun when they mix up who the characters interact with in friendly/antagonistic manners.

A judge ruled Trump's law suit against Hillary Clinton and a bunch of other people frivolous and ordered he pay them $1 million, so now he's having to cancel his other stupid frivolous law suits. What a shame.
