Re: hopeful Trek. I must stand in defense of Discovery, specifically seasons 3 and 4. Season 4 is a new favorite, specifically because of its positive tone. Also, Prodigy. I’m looking forward to seeing more of that in SNW.

Design is a matter of personal taste, I think. I own all the Sunstreaker MPs and I just got the Skidses. SS is interesting, but, IMO, way over-designed. Far too complex for my tastes. And I just don't like the extreme cartoon look. Skids is near-perfection, both in aesthetic and transformation...

Skids dragged me back in and Trailbreaker is pushing me right back out. 😂 This one is not for me.

I hadn’t noticed it, but now that you mention it, I see it. I’d like to give you some insight, but they’re in robot mode right now and I don’t have a spare twenty minutes to transform them, haha.

I think Metroplex looks neat. I always liked the original and I have a desire to get this new one so he can tower over my Cybertron figures. All of the negatives have been mentioned here, and I agree with most of them (especially the lack of Mini-con ports), but still, I like the toy.

Imagine the G1 Optimus character model with Sky Striker parts hanging off. A very obvious cab-over-engine truck chest, but he turns into a plane. Edit: or would it be worse if he turned into a military truck but still had the cab-chest? Either way, too weird for me.
