WFC Netflix Deluxe Chromia Gallery!

Sneaking into the Allspark Studio today is master of infiltration and sabotage, Chromia!  Will she be unfazed by any enemy on your Decepticon shelves, or will she be slow to step up when her team is in a tight spot?  Tune in after the jump to find out!

I was fortunate to be able to attend the Hasbro Toy Fair 2020 event, and after the show was over, all the attendee’s received “swag bags”.  Mine contained Chromia.  Hasbro gave Chromia to me for free, and I want to thank them for giving me advance access to the Netflix version of Chromia.

This will be a quick review because you have likely already got the Siege version of this mold.  I want to highlight that I was not initially excited about Chromia.  At first glance, I thought she was just a quick repaint.  Now that I have her in hand, I am very happy I have her.  She looks better, in my opinion, than the clean version.  That may be simply because of the gray breaking up the color scheme.  It may also be because I like this shade of blue more.  Perhaps it is because the vehicle window is also tinted blue?  It is definitely because the joints on this figure are WAY tighter than my original release.

At any rate, I think she looks great.  She poses better than the original, her colors are better, and my assumption is that this version will be more “show accurate”.  That works for me.  All of that to say, I am pleasantly surprised with how much I have taken to Chromia.

Full disclosure, I still have not preordered Sideswipe, who I continue to feel fits into the “just another battle repaint” I initially placed on Chromia.  I will probably check him out first in person.

Netflix Chromia, however, I wholeheartedly recommend as an upgrade to your Siege Chromia.  She’s a better figure all around, and I think I would have eventually come to that decision once she hit Walmart stores in April.
