Transformers vs The Terminator miniseries from IDW and Dark Horse announced
The Hollywood Reporter has announced a 4-issue Transformers vs The Terminator miniseries to be released by IDW Publishing in March 2020!
Per the article, the miniseries is set to be written by veteran IDW writer-editors Tom Waltz, David Mariotte, and long-time Transformers writer John Barber – the series marking the latter’s first writing gig since he took on the role of IDW’s Editor-in-Chief. Barber has a great deal of experience with crossover titles, having written the globe-trotting Revolutionaries and the surprisingly delightful Angry Birds Transformers, as well as co-writing Transformers vs G.I. Joe and Star Trek vs Transformers. Art duties, meanwhile, will be handled by fan-favorite More than Meets the Eye artist Alex Milne.
The miniseries is to be published in conjunction with Dark Horse Comics, current holders of the Terminator license, with covers by artists including Gavin Fullerton and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Batman artist Freddie E. Williams II.
Are you excited to see these two worlds of metal men collide? Are you a Terminator fan, or just happy to see Barber and Milne return to the page? Share your thoughts in the discussion thread on our forums, or join the conversation in our Discord server!
