VIZ Media announces Publishing Rights for Transformers: A Visual History

VIZ Media, a manga and anime distribution and entertainment company, has announced on Facebook that they will be partnering with Hasbro to create Transformers: A Visual History, which will be out Fall 2019. The book will showcase movie art from Hasbro and Paramount archives, and will be written by author and well-known Transformers fan Jim Sorensen.

TRANSFORMERS: A Visual History, out Fall 2019. This new art book is the most comprehensive compilation of Transformers artwork ever assembled featuring rare and iconic imagery pulled from Hasbro’s archives.

The official description of the book is as follows:
“In this new hardcover celebration, Hasbro reveals a ton of content from behind-the-scenes production sketches to beautifully polished final art, and everything in-between. From the obscure to the iconic, this book features packaging artwork, animation models, video game designs, comic pages, and, for the first time ever, production artwork from all six Paramount live-action films!
