New Erik Burnham interview highlights TF/GB appearances and… Ghostbusters/Clue?!
The buzz continues to build for the upcoming Transformers Collaborative release of Ectotron, and the five-issue Transformers/Ghostbusters crossover comic miniseries that debuts him.
Serieswriter Erik Burnham did an interview with comicbook.com that plays with expectations some more, giving us an insight into how he went about weaving the story and choosing which characters would show up. He specifically confirms the preview art’s implications that a robotic form for Gozer is in the offing, raising the stakes considerably for our stream-crossed heroes.
Toward the end of the interview, Burnham even playfully name-drops a fairly unexpected Hasbro property crossover that, if you think about it, actually makes some sense — there’s gotta be some ghosts haunting a mysterious murder, right?
