Great new photos from Dengeki Hobby’s Wonderfest 2019 coverage!

Takara’s booth at the 2019 Wonderfest event took fans by surprise, following up on previous reveals (and leaks) by officially revealing some tantalizing upcoming product. The internet went wild as early pictures popped up. Dengeki Hobby has posted an article with great photos from the event, both on the Transformers and Diaclone fronts. Some of these give us better looks at items we’ve seen, and so we’ve mirrored a handful of these photos here.

The Generations sector shows off upcoming Siege product like Brunt, but the WFC star is argubly the figure first unveiled in Hasbro’s “Commander Class” press release: Jetfire. We’ve seen the 11″ Jetfire towering over the Voyagers and Deluxes on display, but Dengeki Hobby’s photos show off the jet mode from multiple angles.

Masterpiece releases get some love too, as MP-45 brings the VW Beetle’s G1 animation model look back to life, taking a different approach than the previous MP-21 and refreshing the design with the current Masterpiece style. Various sneaker-based redecos of MP-10 Convoy (continuing a rich crossover redeco tradition) in Duck Camo, Elephant, and Viotech colors give the mold another run before MP-44 takes the reins.

Last up on the Transformers front is a pair of Convoys — “S” and “A”, actually — with a Star Convoy heavily retooled from Power of the Primes Optimus Prime and what seems to be an all-new mold based on Armada Optimus Prime’s cab robot mode.

Finally, the Diaclone side of things is well-represented, and Dengeki Hobby provides great shots of upcoming product like Powered System Maneuver Alpha, Sky Jacket, Battle Buffalo MK. IV, and a tease of a new attack system.

2019 is shaping up to be a heck of a year, and we haven’t even gotten to Toy Fair yet! While we wait for the other Shanix to drop, let’s talk about these on the Allspark Discord server, on the Allspark Forums, and on the Allspark Facebook group!
