In-package images of War for Cybertron: Siege Greenlight!

Already rumored after a list of upcoming products leaked two weeks ago, it seems at least one of those listings was true, as there is now an in-package photo of one of the very first female Transformers… Greenlight!
As mentioned previously, rumors of a War for Cybertron: Siege Greenlight first cropped up when a list of upcoming Studio Series, Siege, and Movie Masterpiece products was posted on the Chinese site Tieba Baidu on November 30. Greenlight was implied to be a store exclusive of some kind and include a Battle Master pack-in. Other interesting exclusives part of this leak included a Siege “Firestormer Pack” with Slamdance, Sideswipe, and another, unknown toy and a “Skywrap sic battle pack”, along with general release toys like Springer, Thundercracker, and a Leader Class Optimus Prime.

While the validity of all those other listings is still up for debate, the leak just got one great big piece of added credibility when the Facebook page for Norwich, Norfolk based toy store In Demand Toys posted an image of Greenlight and her Battle Master partner Dazlestrike in package!

As you can see, if this image is a fake, it is an unbelievably good one! Eagle eyed viewers will notice something quite strange though. Rather than be retooled and redecoed from the War for Cybertron: Siege Chromia mold, Greenlight seems to be made from the basis of Siege Chromia, Power of the Primes Moonracer/Novastar! Note that Greenlight not only comes with the Prime Armor/Combiner hand included with all PotP deluxes, but also seems to include the 5mm port that’s only used for plugging into the PotP combiner feet! Also noteworthy is the effect part included with Dazlestrike (a, frankly, seemingly very light redeco of Siege Lionizer) is different, having a fiery look rather than the straight swoosh-y one included with Lionizer.
We already knew Hasbro intended to keep the Power of the Primes train a-rolling with the advent of Transformers: Generations Selects Ricochet and Red Swoop, but it seems no line is truly safe from Primes’ power! Could there also be a Lancer in the works somewhere? Will the dream of a full set of the female Autobots from the G1 cartoon episode “The Search for Alpha Trion” finally come to pass?! Only time will tell, but Hasbro certainly seems to be setting us up for it!
