IDW and Hasbro Launch Female Creators Anthology – Synergy: A Hasbro Creators Showcase

Polygon reports that Hasbro and IDW are set to launch a new collection in March combining Transformers, My Little Pony, Jem, and G.I. Joe content from female writers and artists, as well as autobiographical pieces by Mairghread Scott and Katie Cook and four new posters. The collection is targeted in particular to young female fans of the properties.

Synergy: A Hasbro Creators Showcase is described as including new stories based on G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Jem, in addition to the two autobiographical stories featuring Hasbro toys in key roles. See Polygon’s story for the full details.

Since the individual stories are described as original content for the collection, the stories featuring Dawn Moreno and Windblade may turn out to be the real final addendum to the IDW Hasbro universe as we’ve come to know it.

Previews of the cover and two of the posters below were also included in the reveal, respectively from Sara Pitre-Durocher, Bethany McGuire Smith, and Lisa Sterle.
