Movie Bumblebee Jeep Prop for Sale from ScreenUsed.com
Movie prop auctioneers ScreenUsed.com are selling the vehicle used for Bumblebee’s Willys Jeep mode in the upcoming Bumblebee movie in their August 2018 catalog – and apparently, it even comes with custom-faded paint.
Though we already knew Bumblebee would have some sort of Jeep-like alternate mode in the movie from the trailer, this is our first good look at the vehicle, and our first clue as to how this form fits into the movie’s story. For the lot description from the ScreenUsed catalog, read below.
|59. Bumblebee – Bumblebee Willys Jeep
In the new movie, yet to hit theaters later this year in 2018, Bumblebee starts off as a Willys Jeep in the forest fighting off military and Decepticons. Rumor is that he is damaged and right before shutting down scans a Volkswagen Beetle. He then continues through the rest of the movie as a Beetle.
This is the hero Jeep that was used as Bumblebee in the first part of the movie. It was custom-made with painted on dirt and distressing. The Willys Jeep measures approximately 132” long, 62” wide, 64” tall, and has some bright red tape marks on it for lining up computer graphics in post production. The vehicle starts and drives well. This is your chance to own the very first vehicle Bumblebee becomes when he reaches Earth. This vehicle is sold with a Bill of Sale only, no title or registration.
