Allspark Art Showcase of the Week for July 14th 2018

Goooooooood morning Allspark! It’s 0600 hours. What does the “O” stand for? Oh, my God, it’s early! It’s so early I’m not even awake yet! Speaking of early, let’s start this day off with our weekly tribute to the Allspark Art Showcase of the week.

For this week’s showcase we’ve decided to give you two showcases-in-one: an illustration piece and a custom!

First up is a custom by longtime Allspark member, an apprentice staff member, lastmaximal‘s Free-Combiner members of Battle Gaia!

Since TakaraTomy never gave us a boxset of Battle Gaia or Guard City, lastmaximal decided to take matters into his own hands by making his own. The components of Battle Gaia are made from the Combiner Wars Combaticons figures. Is Guard City next on lastmaximal’s list? Check out his customs here and view the full gallery here in our forums, and don’t forget to let lastmaximal know what you think of his work.

Our next showcase piece is an illustration by Allspark member, and extraordinary artist, Eric “Noideaforaname” Kowalick‘s Wizzrobe.

Wizzrobes are a recurring enemy in the Legend of Zelda series. In The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Wizzrobes took the appearance of a possessed Toucan Sam who followed his nose to a land controlled by Ganondorf. Check out the illustration below and click on the image to view it, and other Summerween pieces, in our forums and let Noideaforaname know what you think of his amazing artwork! Be sure to watch him on DeviantArt too!

Do you like customizing, repainting, drawing, or making art? Share your works here in our Iacon Art Institute forums! Your work could be featured in our next Allspark Art Showcase!
