Voltron Legendary Defender Season 6 And Beyond!

Comicbook.com has posted up an interview with the showrunners of Netflix’s Voltron Legendary Defender, discussing where Season 6 might take our intrepid heroes, as well as what the future may hold.

Voltron Legendary Defender is about to drop its Sixth Season on Netflix and, via an interview on comicbook.com, executive producers and shorunners Lauren Montgomery and  Joaquim Dos Santos talk about where we left the heroes last season, what might be in store for them this time around and that there’s still plenty more story to tell.

So Lotor has become the rightful emperor of the Galra Empire, but unfortunately not every citizen of the Galra Empire is on bord with that. So they have a very fractured empire. It’s basically a civil war.

Thus, as Season 6 begins, the Voltron Coalition are in an uneasy allience with an empire at war with itself and Lotor himself is still being looked upon as a mystery.

Lotor obviously still has more to be revealed, and i think that was a big sort of element of his oersonality that we kind of left hanging, that we want people to feel a little uneasy as to what exactly his plans are.

On top of this, the Voltron team now has more Paladins than they have Lions to pilot, with the latest trailer teasing the possibility of Keiths return to active duty. Could there be a way  for all Paladins to be active at once? To that, Montgomery is cryptic.

I think there is a way. I think that way is very spoiler-filled, but i think Shiro is… He’s in the show, and he’s not going anywhere.
