Sara Pitre-Durocher Shares Sketch and Preliminary Colors for “True Form” Starscream

Via the Twitter feed of IDW artist Sara Pitre-Durocher, we have the original sketch of Starscream’s “true” body that appeared in the final issue of TRANSFORMERS: Til All Are One. Pics after the jump!

Sara says her original colors were somewhat altered in the book:

The colors ended up changing for the actual issue, but these are what I did on my first draft… I never edited it haha so there you GO

For a comparison, here’s Screamer as he actually appeared in TAAO No. 12:

For those not up-to-date on their IDW, this depiction of Starscream was a mental construct, and represents what the current governor of Cybertron might have looked like if he had been forged, instead of constructed cold (his spark implanted into one of many identical Seeker-style bodies).

Think Starscream should adopt this form full-time? Let us know on our forums.
