Hasbro Toy Trademarks Update: Cybertron, Movie Edition

Hasbro has lodged two trademark applications relating, shockingly, to “Toy action figures, toy vehicles and toy robots convertible into other visual toy forms”. The first is the classic “Cybertron“, the other a fresher and slightly more mysterious “Movie Edition“.

“Movie Edition” is presumably a line of movie toys, perhaps a general label for releasing movie characters between films, and the application notes that “Cybertron” is linked to the trademark for the upcoming Cyberverse franchise.

Hopefully we won’t be waiting too long for more info on Hasbro’s plans for these marks, so stay tuned!
