Comics Legend and Transformers Writer Len Wein Passes Away

Few can boast a career in comics as influential as Len Wein. He co-created Wolverine and introduced the new X-Men. He edited Watchmen. Sadly he passed away this week at the age of 69, after several recent surgeries. Wein also contributed scripts to the original G1 Transformers cartoon (the classic Decepticon showcase Webworld, with Diane Duane) as well as Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and the current Robots in Disguise show.

Our condolences go out to Len’s family and friends, and to the countless fans touched by his work. The scope of his gifts to our popular culture cannot be calculated.

Feel free to share your favourite Len Wein moments in our forum.
