Weird Al and Other Transformers Alumni Join Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Hollywood Walk of Fame’s Class of 2018 has been announced and it’s a big year for Transformers fans. In the Recording category we have Weird Al Yankovic, who dared us to be stupid in Transformers: The Movie and later lent his voice to a garbage truck as Transformers: Animated‘s Wreck-Gar.

Joining Weird Al on the musical side of things is Snoop Dogg, who recently reviewed Transformers: The Last Knight. Other notable honorees include Star Wars legend Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker, who can transform into both a Snowspeeder and an X-Wing Fighter); Bernie Mac and Anthony Anderson (Transformers 2007); Gillian Anderson (whose X-Files character Dana Scully didn’t get to meet Optimus Prime, but hangs out with people who did); Marvel UK Transformers associate Sir Richard Branson; and Pound Puppy Eric McCormack (soon to appear in IDW’s Hasbro Universe books).

For the full list of honorees – which also includes TV Wonder Woman Lynda Carter, Marvel superheroes Jennifer Lawrence and Zoe Saldana, lovable mathematician Jeff Goldblum and more – visit WalkOfFame.com.
