Transformers Voice Actors Unite For Well Wishes To Founder of Slag-a-con
A few days ago I got some very sad news. Chad Williams, the founder of Slag-A-Con, a home grown mid-west Transformers convention, has been diagnosed with cancer and according to his friends and family is now receiving hospice care. I got to meet and hang out with Chad at all but one of the Slag-A-Cons. Transformers has been a life long passion of Chad’s his entire life and thanks to him we got to share in that joy in a very intimate, yet awesome convention.
Our hearts go out to Chad and his family during this difficult time and we wish him the best. Additionally, many Transformers voice actors have learned of the circumstances affecting Chad at this time and together have created a tribute video wishing him well.
Thanks, Chad, for all you’ve done. You have no idea how many people’s lives you were able to touch and we hear at The Allspark, and beyond, have you in our hearts and send you our best wishes.
Thanks to Daniel Ross, Gregg Berger, David Sobolov, Michael Bell, James Horan, Paul Eiding, David Kaye, Neil Kaplan, Rob Paulson, Garry Chalk, Neil Ross, Josh Keaton, Venus Terzo, Lana McKissack, Steve Blum, Sumalee Montano, Abby (Chris Latta’s daughter), Mitchell Whitfield, Ben Pronsky, Jon Bailey, Frank Todaro, Jason Marnocha, Abby Trott, and Scott McNeil.
And thanks to you Chad, for all you’ve done.
