TFSS 4.0 6th Figure Revealed – Impactor!
The Transformers Collectors’ Club have revealed the sixth figure for the Transformers Figure Subscription Service 4.0 – the fan-favourite Wrecker Impactor, from the Combiner Wars Rook mold!
As part of a new fan outreach program, Fun Publications’ Jesse Wittenrich (who Allspark members will know as NightViper) will be taking questions and suggestions in Seibertron.com’s forums, and he’s kicked things off by revealing Impactor for the TFSS 4.0:
The reveal was accompanied by the following description:
At BotCon this year, the Transformers Collectors’ Club revealed five of the six figures being sold in the Transformers Subscription Service 4.0. Those five were Ruckus, Windsweeper, Spinister, Needlenose, and Bludgeon – Members of the Mayhem Attack Squad and components to the Mayhem Maximus combiner.
Now the sixth figure for TFSS 4.0 is ready to be revealed! One of the last survivors of his team, IMPACTOR seeks revenge against the Mayhem Attack Squad. Willing to put it all on the line, this gruff warrior will show he’s made of the metal to stand up against any combiner!
Also part of the TFSS 4.0 will be a BONUS mystery seventh figure – a Deluxe – who will ship with the last figure in the subscription.
This is an early mock up for Impactor. Final colors and sculpt may vary.
Impactor originally appeared in Marvel UK’s Generation 1 comics, and was more recently a star of IDW’s wildly popular Last Stand of the Wreckers mini-series. The revealed mockup image uses the Fall of Cybertron Impactor toy’s head sculpt as a placeholder, and we can no doubt expect the final figure to have a head similarly inspired by Nick Roche’s LSOTW art.
What are your thoughts on Impactor? How is the TFSS 4.0 looking as a complete package? Head over to the Allspark Forums to share your thoughts.
